Ending the longest month with the warmest words from J&W - just look at those smiles!

Katie is the best!! We can’t recommend Katie more. She did such an amazing job organising our wedding. From start to finish we felt like she had everything under control and helped us to execute our vision perfectly. She has great attention to detail and made sure we didn’t forget any of the little details. It was invaluable having her supplier recommendations. We received so many compliments on the flower arrangements in particular. We had 100% trust in her - which was amazing because it meant we could fully relax and enjoy the day and preparations.

Katie was calm, efficient, extremely accommodating and flexible when a few unexpected events occurred in the lead up to the wedding. Firstly, when we had to push the wedding back a year - Katie was able to arrange everything with suppliers so we didn’t loose any, finding suggestions for a new date extremely quickly based on supplier availability. Secondly, when our photographer had to cancel the day before our wedding due to a medical emergency, Katie and our wonderful photographer managed to organise cover at the eleventh hour so we still had photos on the day - and we are so so pleased with how they turned out!

If we were planning to get married again we would definitely hire Katie to organise it…(although fingers crossed we won’t need her services!).

THE MOST PRECIOUS MOMENTS

Weddings are filled with beautiful memories, personally it’s the moments with our grandparents that truly leave a mark on our hearts. 🕊️

One of my incredible brides, Georgie, shared an unforgettable waltz with her grandfather. It was a moment of pure joy and I’m sure one she will treasure forever.

We don’t always know how much time we’ll have with the ones we love, so seeing these heartfelt connections unfold reminds us to hold them close. Today I visit my Grandpa, to hold his hand for the last time. Cherish these precious moments, they become the memories we’ll carry for a lifetime.

Heard the term of flat lay and unsure what it means, let me explain…

A flat lay photo is a type of image where objects are arranged and photographed generally from above. They are commonly used in weddings to showcase small details.

Wedding flat lays often include items like:
• Invitations and stationery
• Jewellery - rings, necklaces and earrings
• Flowers or greenery
• Accessories like veils, shoes, or cufflinks
• Meaningful keepsakes like heirlooms or perfume bottles.

The goal is to tell a story and highlight the thoughtful details of the day in a beautiful, stylised manner. Don’t forget to set these items aside for your photographer on the wedding morning, if you don’t have a planner task this to a bridesmaid.

If you go down to the woods today... You’ll be sure to find some gorgeous spring wedding inspiration! The perfect mix of fabulous florals, modern bridal wear, and boho luxe. "Evenly Wood provided the perfect backdrop for this lush woodland meets city chic shoot!" Words are stolen from the cake queen Charlene as they sum the day up perfectly. I absolutely loved how the surroundings and the groom's velvet jacket inspired me to create a tablescape using tones of greens. It beautifully complemented the rattan placemats, hanging lobster pots and gold cutlery. The natural base of green created the perfect canvas for the stationery, florals and cake, all in a stunning colour palette of coral, lilac, and pinks.
