FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD

This week I have been talking about the key areas to focus your wedding budget on. Today as I head into Oxford for the menu tasting and meeting with it seemed fitting to discuss wedding food.

With 75% of guests saying the food is the most memorable part of a wedding, getting it right is essential and one area I always advise my couples to invest in.

From delicious canapés and plated fine dining to relaxed family service feasts, dessert stations and late night bites and food trucks, your menu sets the tone for the day. Catering will be a big part of your budget, trust me, it’s worth every penny.

Ending the longest month with the warmest words from J&W - just look at those smiles!

Katie is the best!! We can’t recommend Katie more. She did such an amazing job organising our wedding. From start to finish we felt like she had everything under control and helped us to execute our vision perfectly. She has great attention to detail and made sure we didn’t forget any of the little details. It was invaluable having her supplier recommendations. We received so many compliments on the flower arrangements in particular. We had 100% trust in her - which was amazing because it meant we could fully relax and enjoy the day and preparations.

Katie was calm, efficient, extremely accommodating and flexible when a few unexpected events occurred in the lead up to the wedding. Firstly, when we had to push the wedding back a year - Katie was able to arrange everything with suppliers so we didn’t loose any, finding suggestions for a new date extremely quickly based on supplier availability. Secondly, when our photographer had to cancel the day before our wedding due to a medical emergency, Katie and our wonderful photographer managed to organise cover at the eleventh hour so we still had photos on the day - and we are so so pleased with how they turned out!

If we were planning to get married again we would definitely hire Katie to organise it…(although fingers crossed we won’t need her services!).
