GUESTBOOKS

Don’t need to be boring and generic. Make them yours.

D&Z have a passion for cooking, so a cookbook guestbook was a no brainer. Guests picked a recipe they wanted the couple to make, then left a note on that page. Simple, personal and memorable.

If you’re more into travelling, use a globe or a map and have guests mark a place with their message. If music is your thing, turn a vinyl sleeve into your guestbook. Build an idea around what you actually care about, not what tradition expects.

SMALL GUEST COUNT. BIG IMPACT.

D&Z brought all their favourite people across the Atlantic for their Oxford wedding.

They took over the Bodleian Library for an intimate wedding. The smaller guest list gave us more creativity with the table set up. We explored a few layout options and the caterpillar table won instantly. Not only did it fill the Divinity School perfectly it looked incredible with the greenery tree arrangements and black, white and gold tablescape.

SPECTACULAR SWAN

Matilda grew up in Stratford upon Avon and the swans on the river hold special meaning to her. N&Ms beautiful stationery included both an illustration and cut out swan, we also used swans on the cake. One simple motif, used with intent and perfectly tied together N&M transatlantic love story.

WEDDING TRUTH

Something is going to go wrong, a hard pill to swallow I know.

It wouldn’t be a wedding day if something didn’t go slightly off piste, there is however a very wide spectrum of “wrong” and your version of catastrophe could be very different to another’s.

It could be that the best man lost his cufflinks or it could be that the heat in the marquee was too much for the buttercream cake.

That’s why you hire me. The “wrongs” can be quickly turned around and often negated before you even know about them.

Side note the weather is yet to be under my control!
