Dog walk chats - what are styled shoots and why do vendors do them?
You might see a lot of styled shoots on wedding vendors feeds at this time of year -
Styled shoots are a great opportunity for creative play, trying new things and working with locations, colours, styles and suppliers we might not happen to have been booked for in real weddings.
Wedding vendors use styled shoots to build or expand their portfolios, show examples of the gorgeous work they can do and hope you'll book them for in the future - and keep us busy and creatively fulfilled during the quiet winter months!

As an alternative to more traditional table layouts caterpillar tables are becoming super popular as a layout for 2025 weddings - round tables joined together to form a long, winding caterpillar-esque shape.
Floral wise these look stunning with winding floral meadows or bud vases and candles en masse.

For today's trend prediction we've got an addition to the monotype trend I mentioned yesterday - colour blocking and single variety displays for venue decor 😍
Couldn't be demonstrated more beautifully than by Karon @meadowsandmulberryweddings - I love this wedding featuring baskets of colour blocked single variety blooms and I think this is a style we will see lots more in 25/26 weddings!!

Predicting 2025 floral & wedding trends day two and there's 3 in 1 for you..
Micro weddings and elopements are becoming much more popular, with smaller weddings often allowing for amazing statement table florals such as full table meadows and swoon worthy installations.
Candles are also a big thing in 2025 and 2026, we're leaving minimal behind and going for candles en masse!!

No 1: guys slaying bouquets!!
In 2025 we are definitely seeing a shift in traditional gendered roles for florals - not just women as bridesmaids with bouquets, women as best men with whatever florals they feel most comfortable with. You should 1000% have the people, the look and the blooms you want with you on your wedding day and we love to see folks doing it their way!!

I think funeral sheafs are one of the most simply beautiful things we make. Like a large, flat bouquet they are gorgeously natural and understated but beautiful choice for farewell flowers.
