Wow what a meeting yesterday! Absolutely delighted with how the day unfolded and all the positive feedback and messages received.

Huge congratulations to Trevor Steward and his Eastern Eagles who were crowned the inaugural TRTT winners and a massive well done to each and every rider and team managers.

As always these events would not be possible without the help and support of our loyal spectators and hard working volunteers and officials.

This concludes our events for 2024 thank you to each and everyone that has helped and supported us over a busy couple of months of action.

A final word to our title sponsor and friends RJC AUTOS for their invaluable financial assistance and encouragement as without them these events would not be possible.

Riders & Spectator Information - 'Track Racing Team Tournament'

🔴🟢🟡🔵⚫️ We are now just a little over 1 week away from the 'Track Racing Team Tournament' on Sunday 23rd June 2024

⛺️Camping: Gates open at 3pm Saturday 22nd June 2024 - Midday Monday 24th June 2024. Please don't arrive before this time as there is no suitable stopping place near the venue, and please ensure you are off the field by the time on the Monday. Please note there is no fresh water available so please bring your own.

➡️The venue will be signposted from Junction 11 of the M3 please also follow the signs to Marwell Zoo carrying on straight through Twyford Village (ignoring Sat Navs telling you to turn left at Hazeley Road) this will take you to a safer and wider route to the venue and avoid going through the narrow lanes of our neighbouring village. Please then follow the direction signs to the venue.

🅿️The pits will be marked out in teams - we will have a team of parking attendants so please follow their instructions in getting everyone parked up, both riders and spectators. Please note only race vehicles are allowed in the pits.

🍔🍺 There will be hot food and the Bar available from the catering team on Sunday. The bar and food van takes cash and card.

Under 16s: FREE (Must be accompanied by an adult)
Full colour raceday programme: £2

There has been lots of interest around the upcoming Team Tournament being held at the Bantasia Arena on Sunday 23rd June. We will start to drop in details on the run up to the event so you can all get a flavour of what this brand new, unique event will entail.

With the door shut on Bantasia for another year attention now turns to our final event of 2024 in just over 5 weeks time.

We are looking to grow our track building team/crew and will be delighted to hear from anyone that can spare some time to volunteer and assist the club with various jobs that need doing to prepare the circuit before and on the day.

A working party has been planned for Saturday 15th June at the field to get everything ready for the Track Racing Team Tournament.

We would like to publicly thank all of the helpers who helped get the Bantasia Arena taken down and packed away on Sunday evening. In particular, we are most grateful to great friends of Grasstrack Steve Todd and Fiona Strachan who, without even a moment's thought, rolled up their sleeves and mucked in with the clear up on Sunday night. Thank you Fiona and Steve.

Camping from Midday tomorrow (Saturday - please do not arrive any earlier as the gate will be closed and there is no immediate stopping place in the roads surrounding the venue)

🟢⚫️ Heading into the last few days before Bantasia 2024

The team are currently putting the finishing touches into the Bantasia Arena ahead of what should be a fantastic day's racing

This week we've had perfect conditions for track prep, and far less rain than what was initially forecast - to the point where we have the bowser on standby!

Don't forget gates open for camping Midday Saturday 4th May (Please dont arrive before this time) and then they will open again on raceday 5th May at 7am

Cash and card available on the gate - no need to book in advance!

ALL SYSTEMS GO

Extensive access changes is underway at Whaddon Farm in hope to improve the entry and exit in to the venue.

This will also help mitigate the issue we had with the elements which as you know caused a few problems last year!!

As you can see the field is in fantastic condition and we can’t believe how quick the venue has dried after what can only be described as a disgusting winter.

We have a fantastic lineup of competitors the field is tip top and the weather has hopefully turned the corner! It’s shaping up to be a Bantasia Banger!

500cc Solos

Some of Britain’s finest come to the tapes for this year’s Bantasia event in the 500cc solo class. Heading the list is recent Tallington winner Paul Cooper. He has started his season in good form and has shown he can ride the Bantasia Arena very well indeed. He finished 3rd at Bantasia 2 in a lineup that boasted some of the world’s best riders. He will be joined by Plymouth Gladiators star Alfie Bowtell, who seems to get quicker and quicker every time he rides on the grass. Mickie Simpson, whose adult outings have been fairly limited, comes to tapes after a super-impressive performance at last year’s curtailed British Masters. Many fans can’t wait to see Simpson back on the grass in 2024 after the glimmer of greatness that he showed last season.

Two-time Bantasia 250cc champion Cameron Taylor now enters the 500cc lineup as he begins to cut a groove in the bigger solo class. He is sure to be in amongst the results at a circuit that he rides well. Perhaps a rider that is arguably the favourite, however, is Chad Wirtzfeld. Chad, who has picked up a regular speedway ride again this year, has been sensational at the Bantasia Arena in the past. He loves this track and he could be the man to catch if he shows the speed and form that he has shown in the past.

Two returnees to the sport for 2024 join the 24-strong lineup. Martin Williams and Callum Walker have both had lengthy rests from the sport, but they come to the tapes for 2024 and they begin at Bantasia.
