Hello Everyone

Just an update on the hall refurbishment- though internally everything is finished when the builders took down the ceilings we discovered the joists were wet and the flat roof leaking !!

Temporary repairs were made and S T Cowley Contractors quoted to replace the flat roof and hope to start next week (w/c 11/11/24)

This is obviously subject to weather 🌦️ and working in daylight hours Mon-Friday

The hall will function as normal through the work which should take 7-10 working days (it is 78 sq meters!) but please bear with us and be nice to our builders - we are very grateful for them fitting us in !

The Village hall refurbishment is in its third week 🚀🚀🚀 and the builders are going great - plumbing and tiling all on the way - kitchen fitting this week too - so exciting that the village will have these lovely facilities to enjoy 🚀🚀🚀 our caretaker Barry and his painter mate Neil have also painted the Beeding Room ready for the new curtains 🚀🚀🚀

Well… we are coming to the end of the first week of our refurbishment!
Builders have been amazing (ST Cowley) … and they are now starting to rebuild rather than remove 💪 ceilings going back up , and first fix electrics all done - five weeks to go 🤦‍♀️🚀🚀🚀🚀
