We are hiring and expanding our design and creative department so require a new Design Assistant to join our fast paced business, working across exciting brands and major events.
LOCATION: Uxbridge, Greater London
START DATE: Immediate

Overlay Events brings a unique service to the events industry servicing the design and build of temporary demountable infrastructure and architecture for Global Sporting Events, Films, Festivals, Advertising Agencies, Architectural Practices, Experiential Clients and Global Brands.
Much of what we do is NDA bound but historical projects include (but are not limited to) Olympics, Commonwealth Games, Rugby World Cups, Cricket World Cups, F1 Motor Racing, FIFA and UEFA Football, Tour Golf, World Athletics, and Architectural Landmarks.
WHAT WE WANT
* A Full Time Design Assistant within our Creative Team based in our London HQ.
* 2D and 3D Design Development
* Will be motivated to develop fully workable solutions using a collaboration of Systematic Scaffold, Truss and Timber Componentry.
* Will work alongside our in-house Architects and Engineers to transform concepts into fully illustrated and functional working drawings ready for construction.
* Will have open communication with our Operational Team developing future design efficiencies.
* There will be an expectancy to visit site during the survey and installation process so a full UK driving license is essential due to the geographical reach of our client base.
WHAT WE NEED
* Efficiency in AutoCAD is compulsory
* Previous experience with Layher Systematic Scaffold is preferable
* Knowledge of 3DSmax and Revit is favourable
* Ability to use Photoshop is beneficial
* Full training, future development and progression support will be provided to the successful candidate.
