2024 - you’ve been a blast and I could not be more thankful 💫

It’s been a busy, energetic, and wonderful year here at the boutique. So huge, heartfelt thanks to every single one of you lovely ladies who have stepped through the doors.

It’s been a fantastic year to celebrate your individual style and to match you to the dresses of your dreams. And special thank you to all my 2024 brides for sending photos. It really is very special to see you all looking stunning as you and your dresses take centre stage 💫

Hands down, some of my favourite moments of the year have been right here in the boutique, hearing your stories and being wowed by your plans. Some wonderful 2025 weddings soon step into the next stage of the planning - so best of luck to you all!

You know I like to keep busy… and stay organised… but this year it’s been full-on behind the scenes here. 2024 has been
B U S Y. Because amidst welcoming all you lovely brides I somehow I managed to fit in a (lush!) new rebrand and move to a larger boutique just before Christmas. Same beautiful dresses, same relaxed service… just much more space at Room for a new label on the rails, more space for your appointment guests (and free parking 💃) And did I say there is enough room for a real bridal catwalk experience? If this is something you’d like to try during your appointment - let me know!!

Yes, I’m taking bookings for January and February, and DMs are always open because Christmas Day marks the beginning of engagement season. So do get in touch if you have a preferred date for your appointment. But right now I’m taking a pause to faff with some tinsel, pop some fizz in the fridge and enjoy precious time with my gorgeous boys while they are still young enough for the magic of Christmas.

What do you do when you’re not sure if you want a traditional wedding dress, you hate fuss and maybe you’re not feeling the best about your body right now?

I’ve created the boutique to be a safe space and a welcoming place. I promise to listen to you and while I will be able to help you choose your dress and understand styles and what will work for you, there will be no hard sell.

I will put you under no pressure to make this huge decision in a rush… I won’t nudge you beyond your budget and I will not take you out of your comfort zone.

Hello 👋 if you’re new round here I’ll take a second to say hi.

I’m Caroline, Owner & Bridalwear Consultant of Bridal Gossip. And right now I’m moving my boutique to gorgeous new premises on the edge of Wadebridge. More space… more dresses to choose from… and free parking for the win!

I’ve created the boutique I wished for when searching for my own wedding dress. And every month I get excited when I hear your wedding plans. I’m overjoyed when I stand with a nervous bride to be, watching from a very special place as she finds her inner confidence and feels the very best version of herself. I match gorgeous brides to the dresses that make dreams come true. But that is only a small part of my story,

Bridal Gossip is a safe haven of positivity. I’ll encourage you to leave your inner mean girl at the door. This is not the place for beating yourself up, it’s the place to discover another version of you. And I’m here to help you celebrate what makes you the unique, beautiful woman that you are.

My bridal experiences are designed to be relaxed and unfussy. You’ll relax as you walk though the door and after you’ve shared some of your bridal story, you’re welcome to explore the gowns on the racks.

And as I help you make your selections and learn more about the day you are planning, I’ll make my own suggestions for you. And like at least one bride every month finds…if I throw in a wild card, it may just turn out to be ‘The One’.

On Friday I met Bekki and her wonderful family. I could not have asked for a more perfect start to Bridal Gossip’s next chapter in our new home 💫

Sometimes bridal appointments come with so many stories and treasured moments that it takes a while for them to settle. And this was one of those days.

With her Mum, her Auntie and her gorgeous Nan, Bekki fell in love with The One. And there were tears all round as this family of really special ladies celebrated with her and joined together and held her in her joy.

Is there a more special chapter in a girl’s wedding story, than sharing the moment of dress discovery with the women who have held her dearly throughout your life story so far? I don’t think so.

And it’s just one of the reasons I’m here: to give women the chance to hold space with each other during this precious time. Free or sales talk or pushiness, unapologetically faff-free and with enough space for brides to bring the tribe who are most important to them, without fear of being crowded.

Bekki thank you for choosing me to help you in this most important part of your wedding plans and for trusting me as I helped you uncover what it was that *you really wanted. And for giving me the chance to meet your lovely family.
