We are delighted to announce that £2200.00 was raised for our dog charities Ferne Animal Sanctuary St Giles Animal Welfare and Forever Hounds Trust at the Big Bark last weekend.
THANK YOU so much to everyone who supported these charities and the work they do!
We also had donations of £25.00 from the memory tree which we will be donating to Bramble’s Pet Food Bank, Plymouth 🐾

🐶We have a welfare officer and canine & human first aiders on site. Should you need their assistance they will be in high vis vests or visit our information tent located in the Exmoor Pavilions

A lot of the Parking here at Bath and West Showground is on hard-standing ground & there are a lot of hard-standing areas around the whole of the site area, great news! We have recently caried out a site visit & the ground has dried out & is not muddy.

The incredible Forever Hounds Trust are running our Temptation Alley at The Big Bark on Sunday 5th May, it's going to be pawesome! 🐕 🐶
Treats or chews, gravy bones or fish skins - can you dog resist the temptation of the Alley? Join in to raise funds for this amazing charity - this activity is not included in the adventure ticket, so please pop along to support on the day! 💛 💛
Our The Big Bark Shopping Zone will be a little smaller this year - we want to support all the traders that attend by avoiding duplication where possible whilst providing a quality shopping experience & also we want to maximise the space so we can provide as many super fun activities for your Doggo's as possible!

Dogs come into our lives and leave paw prints on our hearts. At our upcoming The Big Bark at Bath and West Showground we are thrilled to be have our A Doggy Day Out our Memory Tree where you will be invited to write your memories of a beloved pooch on a wooden bone 🦴 and place it on the tree in remembrance. 💙
At the end of the event these wooden bones 🦴 will be buried in a beautifully sunny grass spot. You will also have the opportunity to donate to our chosen local charity in support. 💙💙

The doggy journey began April 2016 when a rescue dog called Max entered our lives. We wanted to take him everywhere with us and so we entered the ‘dog friendly’ zone. We quickly realised there was no large fun doggy events for pooches and owners and last May created our ‘Doggy Day’s Out’. Crowds of dog owners joined us at the event and it was full of lots of smiling and a fun, calmish atmosphere!
2018 we are pleased to be hosting ‘Doggy Day’s Out’ from Bristol to Cornwall with lots of activities, workshops and inspirational exhibitors.
