Welcome to my dedicated sympathy flower page. I have been a qualified florist for over 15 years. In my early days as a student my absolute love was sympathy and funeral work.
I studied for 4 years to achieve advanced City & Guilds qualifications in advanced Floristry.

Many will know me as Nik from Pic-a-lily Floristry. That will continue as before. This is a new customised and exclusive page for all sympathy orders.

I've realised through speaking to so many clients and from very personal experience that most people prefer a more personal service when it comes to their loved ones flowers.

The idea of choosing flower arrangements from a brochure and with limited choice doesn't help tell the story of your loved one. Standing in a shop and ordering over a counter can feel very hostile and uncomfortable.

I provide a very personal service on a one to one basis. I can visit your home and you can sit comfortably whilst we chat about any ideas.

Think about what they loved doing, colours, hobbies and interests.

After visiting you I will work out at quote within 48 hours. I will liase with the undertakers/chapel of rest to ensure delivery is made at the appropriate time.

I tell your loved ones story through their flowers .

Your loved ones flowers are the last gift and therefore they deserve to be exceptional.

Rose's for this gentleman's flowers ~ his late wife was called so. He had a love of Scotland so we added blue Eryngium (thistles).
These two colours are very complimentary and provided a very pleasing colour palette.

Truly bespoke ~ for a gardener who loved his allotment. It only seemed fitting to include a few parsnips, leeks and carrots 🥕.

If you look closely you can see a little trowel and fork. It's the attention to detail that is so meaningful and significant.
