WELCOME APRIL

April is a fantastic month for cut flowers, as spring brings a wide variety of blooms into season. Some of the best cut flowers available in April include:

Tulips – A classic spring flower available in many colors, tulips make a beautiful and long-lasting cut flower.

Daffodils – Bright and cheerful, daffodils symbolize renewal and look great in arrangements.

Hyacinths – With their sweet fragrance, hyacinths add a lovely scent to bouquets.

Ranunculus – These delicate, rose-like flowers come in vibrant colors and last well in vases.

Anemones – Featuring striking dark centers, anemones bring a bold contrast to floral arrangements.

Lilacs – Their soft purple hues and incredible fragrance make lilacs a springtime favorite.

Sweet Peas – These delicate flowers are highly fragrant and add a romantic touch to any bouquet.

HAPPY MOTHERSDAY

What an Unforgettable Mother’s Day 2025!

I’m truly overwhelmed by the incredible support I’ve received this year—it means the world to me and keeps my business going. I can’t thank you all enough for choosing to support local small businesses, especially during such challenging times.

This year has been incredibly demanding, balancing so many orders while ensuring availability at both Caldergrove and Horbury as a one-person operation. but I’m thrilled that we had a complete sell-out in Horbury saturday—there wasn’t a single flower or plant left! Thankfully, I managed to restock Saturday evening and even put together 12 pre-arranged bags in water ready for today.

Caldergrove has also completely sold out, with absolutely nothing left. It’s hard to believe I worked through so many flowers, but I guess adrenaline takes over, and you just keep going!

A special thank you to the lovely customer who brought me a bottle of wine to keep me going—such a sweet gesture!

You’re all amazing, and I appreciate you more than I can say. Wishing you a beautiful Mother’s Day! Now, it’s time for me to finally rest, get a manicure, and wash my hair—much needed!
