Kick starting our 2025 Events is the utterly FABULOUS ⭐️DJ RUPERT BOYLE⭐️ @djrupert.salsa We are so excited that we managed to get some of our Saturdays back which meant we could invite back some of the GREATS🔥🔥🔥. . @djrupert.salsa is coming to Wakefield, so excited to hear him play again up North. . Rupert’s passion for Salsa music shines through in the energy that he brings as a DJ, making him a favourite with dancers everywhere. He’s been a music collector for many years, and has specialised in Vinyl salsa for over 12 years. . Rupert is the host and organiser of Revolution Salsa Social - one of London’s most popular socials, and regularly DJs at events in London and around the UK. . He’s also a regular on the international scene, DJing at parties, congresses and marathons such as SalSounds (Paris), Mambo Fever (Geneva), La Malanga (Madrid), Salsa P’al Bailador (A Coruña), and Istanbul Social Dance Marathon amongst others. . He is presenter of the weekly radio show ‘Que Barbaridad’ on Our Salsa Soul Radio and is also a frequent guest on Salsa Lockdown Radio. . Our story

#Yorkshiresalsacongress based currently in Wakefield but looking to expand in 2020.

We started the congress in 2017 and it was a huge success with artists flying in from all over the world. We only ever employ the BEST in the business and have some SUPER Teachers lined up for now and the future.

Yorkshire Salsa Congress AKA “ The Learning Congress”, is a congress/weekender that you'll actually learn something at. Our main focus for the whole weekender is always on the dancer therefore we dont have endless shows that drag on for hours, we will only ever have a maximum of 6 performances on the main Party night Saturday, and we focus very much on quality of music with SUPERB DJ”S keeping dancers on the dancefloor.
