Last of the door wreaths left today 😔. As usual I haven't even had time to make myself one!

Remember to spray your wreaths if they are dry or in a sheltered position. They are a living product so they do need to be cared for. Spraying them regularly will keep your wreath alive well into February next year.

In 2 weeks the nights will start to become a tiny bit lighter. It's a lovely feeling knowing the darkness will start to lift. The time the Earth is the farthest tilt from the sun 🌞.

Christmas Fayre ~ all set up for their Christmas Fayre. With lots of fayres & events sadly cancelled this weekend due to the storm why not get yourself down to this lovely Fayre in Denby Dale.

Lots of local small businesses selling their beautiful goods, the bar is open too. Win win!!

Engagement season is looming ~ after the madness of Christmas wreaths, workshops and deliveries comes the start of wedding chatter.

January is probably the quieter time for florists so it's an opportunity to reset, evaluate and take stock ready for 2025. It is always a busy month for consultations and chats regarding wedding flowers.

May & June 2025 are almost fully booked so please don't hesitate to get in touch and beat the January rush.

Consultations are free & to suit you via zoom or in person at my workshop. Kettle is always on!

FRESH EUCALYPTUS 🍃 ~ PRE ORDER ONLY.

Who doesn't love the fresh scent of eucalyptus in their home at Christmas. It also has many healing properties and good for the lungs to inhale.

w/c 16th December wraps of mixed eucalyptus will be available at £25 a bunch.

Last delivery date for all orders this year is Friday 20th December.

Delivery day ~ lots of wreaths going out today. I will be out and about all week with wreaths so don't worry I will be in touch with confirmation of your delivery.

Wreath tip ~ please remember to spray your wreath every few days if it doesn't rain or it is in a sheltered spot. If you keep it hydrated it will last months!

Last but definitely not least ✨

What a lovely way to round off the wreath workshops this year! There have been some amazing creations, I could tell by people's reactions that they were very proud of what they achieved 👏

I'm proud too that in total 59 lovely ladies this Christmas have a door wreath to adore.

There will definitely be more to come, your feedback has been amazing and very gratefully appreciated 😊. Lots to take away & think about for next year!

Charlotte 🤍 ~ many congratulations to Charlotte & Josh who tied the knot yesterday. A beautiful colour palette in these winter months. Soft baby pinks & frosty whites complemented by a silvery touch of eucalyptus.

2025 workshop dates secured ~ you asked, I listened! So many of you have said they would love to attend again next year. I know 2025!

So, next year I have 22nd, 29th & 30th November , Denby Dale already booked.

I think I've found my favourite ~ a completely handmade heart wreath. I even handmade the bases! Birch stars, cones and a luxury velvet ribbon and the BEST blue spruce. Simply Foliage ~ beautiful xx

Fresh Christmas door wreaths ~ I have already been contacted by a few lovely customers asking if they can place an order for a ready made door wreath. So, I thought it would be a good time to say the wreath order book is open and deliveries can commence from around 25th November. Standard £40 approx 16 inch Luxury £65 approx 24 inch Heart wreath £40 and £60 Please feel free to request your own coloured bow preference and I will pop that on for you. All wreaths are made with natural decorations (no nasty plastic). All wreaths are handmade by my own battered hands using sustainable fresh blue spruce foliage on a recyclable base. Please feel free to send your orders across, if you would like anything in particular please just ask. 😊 Feeling a little brighter today after being completely knocked off my feet by this virus going around. I have felt dreadful to say the least but I think I may have turned a corner 😷.

As the dj completed his sound check I snapped this little video. Love the background music. This arch was installed at the church, dismantled and re built at the couples private residence. Being a wedding florist requires expert timing, a huge amount of preparation, stem counts to be exact, knowledge and care for perishable items, a back up plan and a first class relationship with suppliers.
