Fireworks at Riva del Garda. In Italy, many say that summer ends with the first rain after Ferragosto, a national public holiday that dates back to the Emperor Augustus. They have a huge fireworks display on the lake at Riva. A couple of years ago I took a boat ride that night and witnessed the fireworks from the water, hearing the reverberations off the mountains around about. On the way back, we were caught in a spectacular thunderstorm and got absolutely drenched!

The sun sets behind the mountains on the west bank of Lake Garda, leaving the whole lake bathed in diffused amber light. It's the perfect ending to a wedding day.

I always aim to make my films more cinematic each year. I want to make your wedding film larger than life, so it appears on screen as it does in your memories of the day. I have so much to share from last year, and this seemed the perfect film to start with.
