On Wednesday, Sue Makin Flowers closed their doors for the last time.
We have had 20 years of working with beautiful flowers and even more importantly, lovely customers.

AND SO IT ENDS ….
!!! Sue Makin Flowers has ceased trading as from today after 20 years 😢

It was very emotional saying goodbye to so many of our wonderful, loyal customers who popped in today to see us.
Complete sellout on bouquets, holly pots, etc. We really couldn’t have asked for any more from you.
Thank you for all your gifts and cards. It was so much appreciated.
We will be back at beginning of January to have a full clearance of many lovely items … vases mirrors stands, etc.
We will also be available for any of your funeral needs and hopefully have a couple of pop-up shops for special occasions….

In the meantime, a huge Thank You from the bottom of our hearts for all the love and loyal support you have given us … you are an amazing lot !

IT IS WITH CONSIDERABLE SADNESS that after 20 years, we have to let you know that our last day of trading will be 24th December 2024.

Flowers , foliage, and floristry has been my passion for 30 years and it is going to be hard for me to hang my scissors up !
Dianne and I have worked together for the past 20 years , supporting each other through personal tragedies and loss and have forged a lasting friendship.

We would both like to say a BIG THANK YOU, to all our fantastically loyal customers. We have built up an amazing clientele, many of whom have become dear friends…. Not forgetting our many doggy friends who come daily for a treat or two !

Fiori, our wholesaler - Gavin and Sarah- have never let us down. They are always there to help and advise with so much patience… although I am sure we have driven them crazy at times, both Di and I absolutely love them!

I have never to this day lost my passion for flowers and it has carried me through the tough times while looking after Rod my husband .

We will still be here for all your Christmas needs and I hope that you will pop in and see us and give us your continued support one last time .
