I love these little snack pots. We often use them on days out and they've got us through many a "I'm hungry, I can't walk any further" moments with the kids. They've been particularly useful over the Bunkfest weekend and have saved us from hungry tantrums. We've swapped the snack each day and the kids have loved them.

Happy Summer holidays everyone! Was anyone else under the illusion that they'd have a relaxing few weeks playing with the kids and getting stuff done only to find it's been non-stop and you've actually got very little free time? Summer holidays is typically a very quiet time for kit hires, we've only had one kit out and that's it until September. It's too hot to faff around with dinner tonight, so we let the kids loose on the fridge and had picky plates, or as we like to call them; nursery teas. We used these buffet plates to make it a bit more special and had a picnic on the living room floor. It all went swimmingly until our youngest got restless and wandered around the living room and inadvertently stepped backwards onto his plate and shot food everywhere 😕 but at least they enjoyed the experience, and the dog loved it.

A little while back I noticed that one of the buffet wheels had a small crack in it. Still perfectly usable, but not really good enough to hire it out. So instead of going into the recycling or landfill it now lives at Granny's house and comes out on special occasions and with adult supervision. This time it was used with an array of sprinkles so the kids could decorate their own ice creams. They would also work well for biscuit or cupcake decorating, or as fruit platters. The one wheel worked perfectly for the 3 kids, and if the sections were filled up it would work well for 4 kids. So whilst this one has a lazy retirement ahead of it, the other 8 that are in perfectly good condition are still available for hire.

There's something for all ages here. A Spidey backdrop that just needs a good iron before being hired out, and 24 small glass bottles that would be ideal for centre pieces holding flowers. They actually look much bigger in the photo than they are. I'll get some photos of them with flowers soon.
