This week I've only quoted for one party. It's for 30-40 people and the quote is made up of 40 cups, plastic champagne flutes, cutlery, 150 plates, plus a few other items. No bowls, but 150 plates!

A kit is often made up of plates, cups and bowls, with cutlery and decorations being extra. But it doesn't have to be. If you have an event that only requires plates, or only cutlery, or you just want to hire some bunting, that's absolutely fine. This is all about making events a bit more environmentally friendly and making a bit of pocket money for me to spend in and around our beautiful town. So pop me a message and let me know what you'd like to hire at your next event. Whether it's an afternoon tea party for 6, or a large event with all the extras. Let's try and avoid single use items where we can. ♻️

Colours bright enough to light up any room. This is some of the bright kit, I have more hiding away in boxes, along with matching cutlery. So if you're thinking about a last minute party but don't want the faff of clearing up it's always worth popping me a message to see if I have availability, the answer will almost certainly be yes. And since I do all the washing up, it gives you more time to sit back and relax after the event. ♻️♻️

We have two more events this weekend, one with the bright kit and one with the pastel kit. The buffet wheels on the pastel kit are amazing. They're a great size for picky things like grapes, crisps, cucumber sticks and the sections can be taken out and spread along the table. Or they can stay as they are with the lids on to help keep the pesky summer bugs away. ♻️♻️

What a beautiful weekend we're having! We've had 2 kits out for hire this weekend, 1 bright and 1 pastel, and the fireman backdrop too. We also had a family get together so we took the opportunity to have a "fancy lunch" and let the kids use our pastel afternoon tea set for their sandwiches and cake. Unfortunately they started eating them before I could take a good photo, but they enjoyed the experience.

A kit is for life, not just for birthdays.

We've provided kits for bar mitzvah's and christenings, jubilee and PTA events and even the OX10 Community Big Lunch back in 2023. We have plates, cups, bowls, cutlery, serving bowls and trays. We have bunting and backdrops. Our smallest hire was for 6 people and the largest was for 125. Over 7000 pieces of reusable party ware have been hired out. With your help we're making a positive impact on the environment, one event at a time. ♻️♻️

Another weekend and another pastel party kit doing its bit to help the environment. This is for 40 people and has the bright and unicorn bunting for decoration and has saved 242 items going into landfill. ♻️🎉

Bright little napkins for sticky little hands.

I don't often buy new items for the kits; I try to get good quality secondhand so there's less impact on the environment. But these are brand new Cheeky Wipes, with their own little box and wash bags so they stay separate from the usual day to day washing. They're lovely, soft and stronger than paper napkins. They're also great to have on hand for wiping up any accidental juice spills. ♻️

Time for something a little bit different and a little bit posh now. These are ideal if you're short of space or just want an afternoon tea vibe at your event. They can be made into two or three tiers.

I have 10 x two tier sets. Now all I need is somewhere to take better photos 🫣

This weekend's party used the bright kit and was a specific theme to match a particular princess with the colours yellow, green, purple and pink. The kit included plates, cups, bowls, cutlery, trays and jugs and saved just over 190 pieces of plastic going into landfill. ♻️

Today I used these guys to collect a load of clothes, shoes, books, toys (shh don't tell the kids) and other things from my doorstep. It's free, it's easy, and as you can see from my photo they took loads! They actually collected more than this because my Mum added bags to it after I'd taken the photo.

I love knowing that things are getting a second life, but I didn't have time to load all of this into the car to take to a charity shop to be told they aren't taking books/clothes/toys at the moment.

I booked the collection about 2 weeks ago as I knew I had loads to sort through. They sent me an email asking me to put certain things together (clothes and fabric) and then bric-a-brac separately. Then last night I got an email with a 2 hour window in which they hoped to collect. As it happened they were running late but I was able to track it through the link in my email and even knew the drivers name and van registration.

I'll be using these guys again.

This was originally posted just over a year ago. I have added more kit in that time.

This is just some of my party kit, not all of it. I'm 5ft 2" and this tower is a bit taller than I am, but it's made up of mostly 2nd hand items, the majority of it is not new. So if you decide to have a last minute event and want to add a bit of colour, or just don't want to have to do the washing up then pop me a message. The chances are I will have availability. And this is another reason why party kits are such a good idea - not everyone has the space to store a kit only to be used a handful of times.

With two bookings this weekend, one booking for February and one for April it's starting to pick up again after the December lull. It's lovely to see reusables becoming more popular. ♻️

It's been so quiet here, but it's still been busy behind the scenes, I've just been terrible at updating the page, sorry 😞
I've had parties in October, November and December. Together we have saved 1000's of pieces of party ware from being put into landfill this year, and we've had more repeat customers too.

All in all it's been another great year for getting people to think about reusables and helping to minimise waste.

So here's to 2025, I hope it brings you peace and prosperity.
