Dorchester Village Hall 200 Club Prize Draw

Congratulations to the winners of the June draw.

1st Prize £ 75 No. 61 Mrs S Jupp
2nd Prize £ 45 No. 94 Mrs J Rimmer
3rd Prize £ 25 No. 63 Mrs R Marriott

The next draw will be in September, so join now for a chance to win!

The 200 Club is a quarterly prize draw to reward supporters and raise funds for the village hall. We need new members to keep the draw worthwhile but there are good odds of winning as there is a maximum of 200 tickets in the draw. A ticket for the year (4 draws from when you join) only costs £12 and you can have multiple tickets. To join, contact Elaine Williams on 340441 or email [email protected] for a form. You can pay by cash, cheque or standing order (preferred).

Thank you for your support and good luck!

Elaine

If anyone is thinking of getting rid of a decent under counter fridge in the coming months, we could do with replacing the one behind the bar in the village hall. Thanks!

Come and join in the fun as Giles Shenton expertly takes the helm and pilots you through the ridiculous tale of men behaving badly while messing about in boats! Doors open 7pm, show starts at 7.30pm. Unfortunately we have had to postpone the Victorian Evening, as our Nasio helpers and families are under pressure as they near the trip to Africa and 4 of the hall trustees and violunteers either have covid or have just recovered from it. All is not lost, as we will re-schedule around the Christmas / New Year period. In the meantime, join us and the Nasio youngsters on Friday 4th November to hear about their trip, and on Friday 11th November for a drink and a chat with Robin Oakley, a leading political journalist but perhaps best known for his knowledge of the horse racing world. Details to follow!
