Two of our most popular types of bars here at Event Hire UK are our Starlight bars and our ZIP bars.

This is - in the main part - because they are available in a variety of different sections. For example, the Starlight bar offers both straight and curved sections, whilst the ZIP bar also has curves and straights, but also corner units and integrated low counter units, as well as matching back bars.

As an event professional, how often do you sit down to reflect on the annual event just gone? Or as soon as the one event has finished, are you straight into the throes of planning the one for next year?

If this is the case, you’d absolutely be forgiven for doing so. After all, it’s always good to try and steal a march on the planning process to try and get ahead of the game. However, thinking about what went well and what didn’t go so well is perhaps more important than anything else at this stage.

How was the procurement process? What about the build up phase? And communication between the various subcontractors? What was the feedback from the event from your clients and visitors? This is crucial in understanding the success or failure of the event. Put simply, don’t keep making the same mistakes over and over!

Our Story

Event Hire was formed back in 2005, with its original base in Walsall, just to the north of Birmingham, where our larger HQ and distribution centre still exists today.

Over time, the company added sales and distribution centres in London and Bradford and then in 2017 added the Manchester sales and distribution to its portfolio of locations, enabling the company to offer truly nationwide distribution to clients and events.

The mantra of Event Hire UK has always been the same – to provide event furniture, catering equipment, cutlery, glassware and crockery to our clients to help create unforgettable events and occasions.

Over the years, Event Hire UK has increased both its range and quantity of event equipment to the point of today having over 650 product lines available in large quantities. Our stock of Chiavari chairs, for example – just one of our product lines – runs into the many thousands of pieces.
