GRAPHICS, SIGN MAKER / FITTER

The job includes all aspects of graphic and sign making as well as fitting. The successful candidate will have a minimum 2 years’ experience and knowledge of Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop as well as being comfortable working at heights.

Due to the seasonal nature of the Exhibition business, you must be able to travel (UK and Europe), work some weekends and long days on occasions during some busy periods of the year.

Your key responsibilities would include:
- Creating/manipulating artwork using Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop ready for print.
- Producing large format printing, signs and graphics.
- Laminating and mounting prints.
- Using a Vinyl cutting machine.
- Weeding and taping up vinyl graphics.
- Driving our van to and from installation sites.
- Use trade tools and skills to fit all types of signage including vinyl graphics, Foamex prints, large banners, silicone edge prints and 3d lettering, mainly at height.

EXHIBITION PAINT / DECORATOR - MIDLANDS (STARTING ASAP)

01EX (Zero 1 Exhibitions Ltd.) are looking for a motivated Exhibition Paint / Decorator to join our creative and dynamic team.

We are currently recruiting for full-time self-motivated exhibition stand lead painter/decorators to work at our busy workshop in Walsall and exhibition venues around the UK.
Candidates will need 2 years' experience in exhibition stand decoration. The job includes all aspects of organising jobs, managing other decorators, materials, etc. Also, the ability to be hands on the job such as, surface preparation for painting, painting MDF and Plywood to a high-quality finish, wallpaper application and leatherette panel wrapping.

The Exhibitions Industry have tight deadlines with busy periods during high season. Production and delivery schedule will demand extra paid work hours during these times; hence reliability and work flexibility are an important part of the role.

◾ You should be comfortable on ladders
◾ Skilled user of trade tools (Sanders, rollers, brushes, staple gun, etc.)

Salary is competitive and will reflect your experience.

Monday to Friday
Walsall Office (Unit 1, Bescot Crescent, Walsall, WS1 4DL)
