Some of you may know this, but for those of you who don’t… Each time I travel somewhere, I buy some sort of a ceramic. Over the years I’ve built up a collection of some of the most beautiful & precious pieces from all over the world, and a huge percentage are gifts from special people. Each plate tells a story, has a memory, and reminds me of a happy time. It’s a beautiful thing, and has been a special part of building the business. It doesn’t really feel like a business, buy more of an extension of my hospitality and heart to share something beautiful. Because I can. And why not.
Many meals have been shared on plates with a story. Many bowls have started a conversation, and many memories brought to life.
The best part is, it’s continuously growing as time goes on. Special times recorded and celebrated by being with special people, and recognising the art of friendships, ceramics and the joy shared by eating beautiful food.
These here, are made by a local ceramicist in Edinburgh, of different sands from local beaches. The colours and textures are incredible. Here’s to more & more beautiful things, times, food, and people.
