Master Builders We provide party entertainment for 5-11 Year olds with a 'Lego' theme. This includes various building challenges and Lego themed games.

OUR PARTIES

Master Builders are new to the childrens party scene in Hertfordshire for 2016. We provide party entertainment for your children and their friends ranging from 5 to 11 year-olds, all based around the wonderful plastic brick. Our parties typically consist of a series of 2 or 3 activities taking approximately 1.5 hours. We have lots of activities and games such as
Tower Building. Teams

have to build the highest tower possible in a set amount of time.
- Race Car building. Everyone builds their own car to run down our track.
- Bridge Building. Teams have to build bridges that span a gap and can hold a weight.
- Catapults. Everyone builds an elastic band powered catapult capable of firing a ping pong ball at the Master Builders defences.
- Egg Carrying. Teams build a vehicle capable of carrying an egg over a set distance/course. The activities run for approximately 1.5 hours and a standard party is for up to 15 children run at your venue, ideally this should be a hall as a reasonable amount of space is needed for the activities and to leave enough space for you to also prepare the party food. We may also able to cater for larger parties. Also if you have any special requests just let us know and we will try and accommodate these. A standard party is £150
For 16 – 20 children the cost is £200
The first 15 miles will be included in the party price. Any additional mileage will be charged at 0.45p per mile. Please be aware that our parties are aimed at children aged 5 upwards. If there are any younger children present they will require parental assistance. Once the party is confirmed we will invoice you for a non-refundable deposit of £50 to secure your booking. This Thursday the new term of our Build and Code Club starts.
We now meet at a new time of 6pm - 7.30pm at Southern Maltings in Ware.
We currently use a mix of LEGO WeDo and LEGO EV3 kits to create machines that are then coded to carry out specific tasks.
The coding used is very similar to Scratch block coding which many will have come across in school before but if they haven't it's very easy to pick up.
You can sign up for a 1 week trial to see if it's for you before you commit to the half term.

This small friendly club is ideal of anyone who enjoys Building with LEGO but also enjoys problem solving and coding. Once we have built our models we then work on our does to enable them to carry out tasks or complete challenges.

A very popular activity at any of our Play events is always our LEGO SPORTS. We have Football and Basketball (pictured) and also Ice Hockey.
All 3 are fully playable games with special minifigures or bases to enable you to kick/throw/hit the ball/puck to try to score more points than your opponent.
These are genuine LEGO sets from around the year 2000 which you can no longer buy new, although they do often show up on Ebay

Our Build and Play club is aimed at pupils in school years 2 to 6. Each week we build to a theme from things that fly to animals and aliens.
Our Build and Code club is aimed at pupils in school years 5 to 8. Each week we create robots and machines that we code using motors and sensors to carry out tasks.

We are at Ware Priory today till 4pm with loads of LEGO for you to come along and play with. No charge or booking required just come down and say hi!

Last Sunday we took part in the Childrens Celebration Day at Southern Maltings in Ware. During the day we built a collaborative mosaic made up of 64 small 8x8 square which when put together formed our final design. @southernmaltings

On Monday we took part in the opening weekend Family Festival at the new BEAM Hertford as part of the event we created a collaborative mosaic from 64 small square. Check out the finished image in this video 😁 @beamhertford

A snippet of the great battles we had at Sele School in Hertford today as part of their summer school etc about half of their new year 7's and it looks like they are going to be a great year group. Good luck in September to all of you.
