We are proud to announce that Race the Dragon UK is part of the international collective the ICDBA - International Corporate Dragon Boat Association

A new project built in collaboration with our partners Dragon Boat Attitude 🇫🇷 & DragonBoat Emotions 🇪🇸 with an objective:

- The development & promotion of dragon boat festivals and international events
- The implementation & development of certification & training adapted to all practised environments
- Collaboration and facilitation of logistical support (including boats & equipment specific to the activity)

We are seeing lovely snowy pictures from the Midlands and the North of England today. Although there is no snow at Race the Dragon HQ currently, it doesn’t often snow in the South of England, where we are located on the Preshaw Estate in the beautiful South Downs National Park.

Remembering February 2019, we had a snow day at Race the Dragon HQ, but unfortunately, there was no time to build a SnowDragon, instead, we loaded a brand new Champion dragon boat which was bound for Donegal Dragons in Ireland.

It was a bit chilly loading the boat in the snow that settled overnight, we timed loading to perfection, shortly after the lorry departed (not without ensuring the driver had a warm cup of tea first) we had a rather snowy blizzard, weather conditions that are more common in the Scottish highlands than the south of England.

Our office and warehouse are located only 10 minutes from Wi******er with good access to the M3 Motorway and national road network, we ensured the lorry driver made it safely back to the motorway to continue his onward journey to Ireland.

The UK’s Largest Chinese Dragon Boat Festival, 2024 a special year – the Year of the Dragon.

Team registration opens on 10th February. Get together with your friends, family, and colleagues, and let’s Race the Dragon. 🐉

Entries open for our 2024 Chinese Dragon Boat Festival on the first day of the Chinese New Year - 10th February 2024 🐉

Entry fees are the same as in 2023 at £700 per team, with a 10% donation to Action for Children taken from the fee. We have up to 48 places for Amateur teams of 11 people per team available. No previous dragon boat experience is needed - any group of friends, workmates or families can enter a team on Saturday 8th June.

Our Festival is taking place at Salford Quays once again and is a celebration of Chinese Dragon Boat Racing and culture.
