Hi Helen & team
Well what can we say about your wonderful team! We are so glad we chose you for our Dads final farewell. From the moment we walked through the door of your Burtonwood office we were greeted by 2 lovely ladies Vicki & Janice who put us at ease and made us welcome. They listened to us both as we told them about our lovely Dad and guided us in making hard decisions that never even entered our head. We explained we still had mums ashes and they said we could place mum on dad’s coffin so that they would be reunited again. This was such a lovely touch as we hadn’t even thought about that. After our visit to the office Helen phoned us offering her condolences and gave us her personal phone number in case we had any questions or worries and said we could contact her day or night. We found this so caring and compassionate. The day came to lay our dad to rest and the heavens opened. Helen still walked in front of the hearse in heavy rain, this moved us as a family. The team with Helen then helped us into the crematorium holding umbrellas to protect us from the rain. Such a lovely touch they even wore yellow ties Dads favourite colour! The care and compassion you gave us as a family helped us on such a difficult day. Thank you just doesn’t seem enough but our thank you comes from the bottom of our hearts.

Happy 3rd Birthday Amelia House! 🥳

3 years ago today Helen celebrated her 50th birthday by receiving the keys to Amelia House. Since then we have cherished all memories made within the funeral home. Our families have become our friends, Team Horne has become our family and the Orford community has now become our home. We are so grateful for everyone’s support and love and it is through this we have been able to welcome a new beginning with the Burtonwood Office. We can’t thank you all enough!
