Good morning all,
We have a little bit of news, and what is a positive start to the Horne family and team New Year.
We collected the keys to our new arrangement office at 5a Clay Lane, Burtonwood yesterday 4th January 2024 aswell as Amelia House.
Helen Horne & Daughter funeral directors will be opening the doors on January 10th 2024
As my husband grew up in Burtonwood and was a popular member of the village, we have lots of friends who we still visit.
So we decided to go back to our roots and open our little office.
We have looked after numerous families in Burtonwood and hope we can become again a valued member of BURTONWOOD community.

Glyn Whitfield

It is with a heavy heart Glyns family announce his demise.
Fell asleep on 1st January 2024, aged 71 years.
Glyn will be deeply missed by his loving wife Marie, daughters Andrea, Samantha and his Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, family and friends.
A funeral service will take place at Walton lea Crematorium on Monday 15th January 2024 at 12.00 noon.
Donations if desired please to The Britsh Heart Foundation.

Reflecting on my year, with a great team.

💜Amelia was 21
💜 We sponsored the Orford cobras under 12s for a second year
💜We helped Helping Hands Changing Lives CIC /Warrington lions
💜Jon joined our team full time
💜We got the keys to the new office upstairs
💜Ameia arranged the surprise party to celebrate our journey
💜Our little Funeral home was placed in to the Best Three Funeral Directors in Warrington for a second year
💜 We were nominated for The Good Funeral Awards
💜We helped Halton Haven Hospice with the butterfly event
💜kerry joined our team
💜Helped with light up a life St Rocco's Hospice
💜Our team are the proud winners of our 1st Award
💜Most importantly we have built up some great relationships with new families, friends, fellow funeral directors.

Fingers crossed this is the year, Luke our son in law has his Transplant, as it has been cancelled twice.

Rachael Bailey

Sadly, passed away peacefully on 18th December 2023, aged 98 years.
Rachael will be deeply missed by all her loving family and friends.
A private service will take place at The Birches Crematorium Northwich.

Having some bonding time, Mum and daughter, Amelia has been unable to work from the office for quite a few months, due to personal circumstances.
But she is still an active, valued member of the Helen Horne Funeral Directors team.
Amelia will still be working from home, for some time yet, and we all miss her company in the office.
She is still also active with the personal items of jewellery.

It's with deep sadness we announce the passing of Ivan, aged 76 years, fell asleep on 5th December 2023.
Ivan will be sadly missed by his loving wife Alwyn, and all of his family and friends.
