At the stunning Mere Court Hotel today for the wedding of Sophie & Ash. Of course, nobody gets to see the wedding photos before the bride and groom, so here's a shot of one of our two photographers, Leah Appleyard, taking a bit of time out while guests enjoy their wedding breakfast.

We were recently asked to photograph an exciting new brand in the studio, and projects like this are exactly why we love what we do. These assignments give us the chance to get truly creative, drawing on over 35 years of experience to craft images that not only showcase a product, but also capture the heart of the brand itself.

The session was a fantastic mix of collaboration and creativity, with the energy in the studio flowing from start to finish. Our client, Rachel at Got Your Six Headspace , was brilliant to work with and absolutely delighted with the final collection of photographs. Seeing their reaction is always the best part of the job, it’s why we put so much passion into every shoot.

We’re looking forward to seeing how Got Your Six uses these images to launch and grow their brand, and we’re proud to have played a part in their journey.

Last Friday we had the privilege of capturing the annual Colleague Awards for the amazing team at Making Space Charity.

Events like this remind me why I love what I do. It’s not just about taking photographs, it’s about telling the story of people who dedicate their lives to making a difference.

It was a real pleasure meeting actor and comedian Steve Walls, who did a brilliant job hosting, such a special day at The Edwardian Manchester, A Radisson Collection Hotel

Huge congratulations to all the winners and the runners up, your passion and hard work really shone through!

Based on the feedback that we receive from our clients, all of them tell us how relaxed and confident we made them feel at the studio, during their headshot session.

We thought we'd write a few things down so that potential headshot clients can do some simple things for themselves, before coming to the studio.

Mental Preparation (1-2 weeks before)

Practice positive self-talk by writing down three professional strengths you want your headshot to convey.

Look at professional headshots you admire (not to copy, but to normalise the process).

Remind yourself that we have 35+ years of experience and have guided thousands of clients through this process successfully.

Physical Preparation (2-3 days before)

Get adequate sleep to ensure you look and feel your best.

Plan your outfit in advance, choosing colours that make you feel confident and professional

Practice good posture throughout your daily activities to make it feel natural during the shoot

Day-of Preparation

Arrive 10-15 minutes early to familiarise yourself with our Warrington photography studio environment.

Bring a few outfit options if unsure, as our studio has a private space for changes.

Eat a light meal beforehand to maintain steady energy without feeling sluggish.
