Let’s go 🤍

This morning my back to work is on, I’ll be responding to your new enquiries and I’ll be in touch with February and March couples to book in your final consultations!

I’m so excited to get started in my new office, it feels like the first day at a new job.

With it being a new year, new office, new home! I thought I’d share this bit of floral goodness from last year, when all the frost had lifted and the springtime flowers started to show their faces.

I’ll never be able to function between Christmas & New Year, I’ve spent most of this week in a relaxed sort of blur.

Settling into our new home, making Christmas dinner and having everyone over was a task in itself, I’m not too sure how we did it!

As we head closer to a new year the blur is slowly starting to lift, and I feel so very grateful and excited for those of you who have booked me as your wedding florist. And I’m still excited for those who haven’t. You’ll soon be able to say “we’re getting married this year” and that feeling is like nothing else!

You’ll all be planning away, adding those finishing touches, catching up with your suppliers. And I’ll be back with my hands on those flowers 🤗 - not that I’m ever very far away from a stem or two.

For those who haven’t chosen your 2025 or 2026 florist, January is the perfect time to book in your consultation. A slow paced month for me after a wild December!

So, if you love what I do and would like to chat, I’d love to hear from you 🤍

On a very beautiful day, all the way back in October, Hannah & Joe said their vows in front of just a few of their closest family and friends at the stunning

The muted pink colour palette, the hand drawn seating plan, the morning suits and the most stunning dress!

This was such a special day to be a part of - and Joe and myself even carried the cake! 😬🫣

Thankyou both from the bottom of my heart for asking and trusting me to provide your wedding flowers (and carry your cake!) 🤍 it was an honour!

It’s been a busy day at Seed & Wild today, and I’ve been very much in the zone when it comes to Christmas!

I’ve had a lot of fun creating wreaths for past couples, clients and some just because I had them in my mind.

This one - after making lots of highly decorated ones - was my favourite 🌲

Why I became a florist…

There’s a question, the one we all answer regularly with, “I’ve always loved flowers”, I have, that’s so true but I think a lot of people have always loved flowers, it doesn’t mean they want to work with them everyday.

I became a florist because flowers heal me, I became a florist so I could use my creativity to build a career, I became a florist because I love designing with flowers. And I chose this path of wedding floristry because I truly love working with you to help make your wedding dreams a reality.

Floristry for some may look from the outside like the most glamorous job in the world, but it’s all a ruse 😆

It’s dirty, it’s heavy, it’s working from heights, it’s long days spent in almost sub zero temperatures, it’s early mornings, it’s late nights, it’s being the web designer, the admin, the manager and the book keeper…

But it’s also, being one of the first to see your dress, the one who gets the privilege of visiting your venue with you, the one who is so excited for you I could sometimes burst, the one who sees you tear up just a little with emotion on your wedding morning, the one who will fix your bridesmaids hair, the one who will attach your buttonhole when you’re wondering which side to attach it.

The one who has the biggest honour, to play a small part in your huge day.

That’s why I became a florist.

Tomorrow I’ll be saying happy anniversary to this truly iconic pair, and today will mark one year since I delivered their flowers to that cosy cottage on Ambleside.

Nothing prepared me for this palette of autumnal pink, the photos by the queen that is Esme, or those shots in Rydal caves.
