Speeches! Love them or hate them, you can do whatever works for you with your wedding speeches, but the traditional order of wedding speeches is as follows: father of the bride, groom, best man and then other toasts. It's becoming increasingly popular for brides and maids of honour to make speeches too!

We have recently hosted two lovely Asian weddings where the brides were adhorned with Mehendi.

Mehendi is the traditional art of applying intricate henna patterns to beautify and bless the bride before her big day.

Mehndi, also known as henna, is said to have natural cooling and calming properties and to offer relief from stress, fever, and headaches, so it’s said to help calm the bride’s nerves when applied to her hands and feet.

Some supplier appreciation today! Our recommended suppliers Make it Special Events completely transformed our Sky Suite, check out the before and after! The Sky Suite is a stunning room on it's own but I think you will agree they really added that extra 'WOW' factor!

Small but perfect! 🍾Our first wedding of 2021, just 6 guests and a lovely testimonial ....

"What an unbelievably fantastic setting for my Mum and her now husbands wedding – I couldn’t fault the venue in anyway, simply stunning. Thank you to the staff for their efforts on the day too – the happy couple were so thrilled and I would recommend this to anyone looking for somewhere with a real wow factor, combining both the breath-taking views and fresh modern facilities. Being a car fan is not essential as you would never know you were at a museum, but if you are, then what a place to be. You couldn’t not be blown away with the presence of the main room and the outside decking space too. Thanks again to everyone involved in making the room look so stunning, it was amazing to be part of the first wedding at the venue and I know the happy couple were so impressed."
