Tomorrow (July 9th) to formally recognise the re-opening of the Hall the John Lucy Trust and the Village Hall Management Committee have an open afternoon which will be attended by local dignitaries representing the charities , councils and members of the public who have supported our Centenary Appeal.
The event will take place between 2.30 and 4.30 tomorrow in the Hall and it is open to the whole community.
We will be serving reception drinks from 2.30 pm and will provide afternoon tea and cakes during the afternoon with a brief ceremony at 3.30 pm
You are all very welcome and we hope as many of you as possible will join us for a fun and informative afternoon

Village Plant and Produce Sale

Tomorrow (Saturday) is the big day. About 1500 plants have been nurtured and are in great shape to transfer from our greenhouses to your gardens.
The doors open at the Village Hall at 9am and from experience the best plants are to be had in the first hour. We have also been donated some more exotic plants by Bordon Hill Nurseries but they are in limited supply so do come early to take advantage of these offers.
Breakfast Baps, including bacon and vegan rolls, will be available at £1.5 and tea and cake £2.
After a 3 year absence we would love to see as many of you as possible.

Hampton Lucy Youth Club is looking to reopen and it needs willing volunteers to take ownership of it
It can run weekly or biweekly or even monthly and on a night to suit the volunteers
Children tend to range from 8 – 15, with an average turnout of about 20 children each time
The club is held in the Village Hall which has recently been refurbished and looks brilliant including a new fully fitted kitchen (ovens, fridge, freezer) plus new toilets and accessible storage for the equipment
There’s loads of great youth club equipment already in the hall including pool, table football, table tennis, air hockey table, games, crafts, sterio system, projector & pop up screen for films, karaoke equipment and beanbags etc

Hampton Lucy Village Hall: Some Dates for Your Diary

Saturday 19 March: 2pm – 4pm Hall Open House

Come along and see the results of the refurbishments, including the new Kitchen, Committee Room and Toilets. Find out how you can book the Hall for your meetings, parties, or Family events. All welcome, refreshments will be available.

Saturday 14 May: Plant Sale

Many thanks to those who have already volunteered to help with potting up, watering and on the day - more volunteers are always welcome. We would particularly welcome to hear from anyone who can help by growing on plants in their own greenhouse. Email [email protected] if you can help.

The Village Hall Christmas Social

It is with much regret we have decided to cancel the social planned in the Village Hall for Wednesday 22nd December.

With rising Covid infections and increased regulations in relation to masks and distancing in public buildings it was felt wise to wait until the New Year for a village social.

Please note the refurbished village hall is available for private bookings which can be made on-line at www.hamptonlucyvillagehall.co.uk
