Some were super nervous about appearing on video and yet Mark clearly put them at ease as they appear calm and collected.

A week in the life of …me 😀

Monday I spent a day filming for one of our clients and getting their 7 Key Video Strategy Videos nailed!

Tuesday was a much needed admin and editing day.

Wednesday I spent a great day with Sharon Brown The Book Chief Publisher and a room full of inspiring women at the book launch for 99 Successful Women. It was an honour to be their photographer for the day. And perfectly timed as it was International Women’s Day.

And now heading into an afternoon for more editing!

Do you have FUN at work?

A lot of my role requires more of my serious side. And being in business means a lot of the time I have to do serious grown up stuff!

But when I can, I love tapping into my fun side 😀

Its all about balance right?!

One of the favourite hats I get to wear is when I get to go along and assist Mark on photo or video shoots.

I can really tap into my fun side then as the key to everything we do is - getting people to relax and have fun on their shoot 😀

So this is an image of me having fun at work. The day involved Mark Varney photographing six business owners for their PR in collaboration with Abbi Hoxleigh from Little PR Rock.

And as soon as I saw the fabulous Kezzabelle Ambler wings I had to ask if I could borrow them 🧚‍♂️

The people we have the privilege to photograph and video make all the hard work worth it 💪

In February we collaborated with the talented Abbi from Little PR Rock Marketing in delivering a day's workshop on Getting Ready to be Featured in the Media!

It was a day packed with so much learning! Abbi Hoxleigh shared her PR know-how and brilliance in relation to getting a media kit business announcement ready (amongst so much more!)

It was great to meet and work with Elke Wallace, Sharon Brown The Book Chief Publisher, Tom Ormsby, Indre Stanaityte & Kezzabelle Ambler

I was delighted to provide a talk on and we covered:

Well I very much enjoyed the last two hours 👏👩‍🏫

I have just finished delivering a two hour workshop with a national company that we offer to in terms of their strategy.

I was a teacher for a long time so being able to help companies learn about using video for maximum impact is right up my street 👍😊 And Mark will assist the in-house videographer with implementation.

You might not of known that we offer consultancy to companies that already have in house videographers 🤔

The even more exciting thing is that we are advising on how to use our new video pacakage based on our 7 Key Video Strategy!

🎉We Won🎉COMMERCIAL PHOTOGRAPHY COMPANY OF THE YEAR - WARWICKSHIRE!

We were delighted to get a phone to tell us that we have won the Central England Prestige Award 👏

So we have Happy Smiling Faces at MV Visual Media today 😀 And we get to attend a big awards ceremony in the new year as well 🍾🍾

We smell like a farm …. Our giving back day! In the run up to Christmas we wanted to give something back. So we spent a day at a very special and worked with some amazing volunteers to create a special grotto experience for children and adults with disabilities and mental health issues.

This is cause very close to our hearts 💕

This charity runs a farm to provide a safe, welcoming and inclusive experience for people. Lots of animals and outdoor space for everyone.

So, we ripped up the soaking wet carpet, cleaned the sludge from underneath it and replaced the carpet. Oh and added some concrete outside to prevent the rain running in! Plus creating a special space for Santa.

We didn’t get photos of the entire project finished but we definitely had a productive day!

It’s on our visions boards to create more time to do volunteer work! 💕

I get to travel around the country with my photography! 📸 And my takes me around Warwickshire, to the Lake District, Devon, Dorset, London (a lot), Yorkshire and....

This shoot was for a client who wanted me to photograph a Hotel in Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Awesome day yesterday at CVP in Birmingham getting all geeky!

👍 Spent a day experimenting with lighting techniques for video with an great group of other videographers!

👍 The two speakers were utterly brilliant and engaging!
