Just one more week left of our Rowans Hospice Cycle Challenge! We are well on our (virtual) way from Lands End to John O’Groats which is grand total of 1,407km.

The team have been heading out after work for group cycle sessions, and they're back out tonight to get the miles up! So far, they've clocked up 1106km, and there's just over 301km left 🚴‍♂️. To put it into perspective, they are just approaching Ben Nevis! ⛰️

🌟 We're 3 weeks into the asembl + Rowans Hospice virtual cycle challenge. It's been a real team effort with lunchtime cycle sessions at asembl HQ and lots of pedal power at the weekend. 🚴‍♂️

Collectively, we've cycled 238km of our 250km target. 🙌
To put it into perspective, we've cycled 14 hours, which takes us from Lands End to Tiverton.

With 6 more weeks to go, we're not losing momentum - we do love a challenge! How far will we make it?

Through our asembl.cares initiative, we're doing everything we can to support Rowans Hospice, a charity that is very close to our hearts. 💚
This morning, some of the team got their hands dirty and had a great time tidying the gardens and sweeping the grounds.

We met with Lilly from the Rowans, who kindly showed us around. We learnt that running the hospice costs £9million each year, and only 10% of this is government-funded. 🤯

This means they must rely heavily on volunteers like ourselves to help, do odd jobs and raise funds.
We look forward to volunteering at Rowans again soon, but for now watch out for our upcoming fundraising events, where you can help too!

The Resuscitation Council are an incredible organisation whose mission is to help save lives through education, training and supporting cutting-edge research.
The plan was to bring their community of members and instructors together post-pandemic to share their incredible work and explore developments. But, an already busy team needed the support of a trusted partner. 🤝

We're looking back at the 5th Arab Lawyers Forum - a prestigious biennial event responsible for connecting a diverse and dynamic community of senior lawyers and decision-makers together from across the world.

With an event and guest list of this fine calibre, it was only right that the venue was of the same prestige. The Rosewood London was an obvious choice, offering opulence in the heart of the city and perfectly located for international travellers.

One area that required consideration was the diverse and multicultural audience. We ensured that no one was left out by creating an inclusive environment that was sensitive to cultural needs.

With meticulous planning, the audience logisitics ran like a well-oiled machine, a bit like the iconic London buses that whisked guests away on a city tour and reception drinks.
