If you would like your 5/6 year old to come along, (there's no charge to you) please give us a call at The Wonder Wood on 01953 889008 to book in. We can only book in 11 children, so give us a call as soon as you can if you're interested.

Dear Watton community/Wonder Wood attendees,

I cordially invite you to my son Jonah’s 5th birthday party.

As regular attendees of The Wonder Wood my son has continually commented on the “Laser Guns” and how he would like to use them. So for his birthday I decided to book the venue to give him an opportunity to try it out.

Due to the fact he isn’t from Watton and all his school friends live far away it would be difficult for them to attend.

So I’m offering children and their parents an invitation to attend on Saturday the 22nd February 12.30pm-2.30pm to come and share some fun with me and my son.

All food and drink for the children will be provided, and there will be a small ceremony for cake cutting etc. bringing a present is entirely optional (he’s already got enough stuff) it’s more about my attempt to help him establish some friends in his peer group within the local area.

My only request is that if you do commit to coming that you honour that commitment not only for Jonah’s sake but for other families who could have attended instead.

I look forward to seeing you for a brief two hour stay filled with cake and laser guns.

Yes, I’ll chuck in a coffee and cake for the parents too. ☕️🍰

There are limited spaces so first to commit will get priority, I should also mention that ideally looking for children aged between 5-6 any gender is welcome. (Obviously parents will have to stay with their children, you cannot drop them off!)

Hi all. We're hosting The Creation Station on Wednesday, February 5th at The Wonder Wood. It's an hours session at 10.30am, have a look at their website for more information and to book. (We're not taking bookings at The Wonder Wood, you need to do it through Creation Station website). Any attendees won't need to pay to enter The Wonder Wood and will get some free time afterward in the playframe. xx

You may have noticed that we have new neighbours, a hairdresser and beauty studio. We wish them the best of success. It does mean there's more parking going on. Please be aware that you can park anywhere in the whole complex, not just the spaces by The Wonder Wood.

We're hiring for a part-time member of staff to work Tuesdays at The Wonder Wood, Children's Soft Play.

The hours are 9.30am-3pm (4pm during school holidays). 🍄.
Flexibility to help with cover for weekends, school holidays and sickness is occasionally also required.

We are looking for reliable, confident new staff member who can provide a high quality of service to all our customers and work well on their own and as part of a team. The role is to start the beginning of January, training to be given beforehand.

Must be 21+ years old for insurance reasons. You must be reliable.

The role will include
-Greeting customers
-Cleaning to a high standard
-Taking food and drink orders
-Answering any phone calls
-Booking parties
-Preparing food
-Use of a Barista coffee machine - full training will be given
-To ensure all daily checks and paperwork are completed
-Health & Safety procedures and ensuring safety at all times

We are looking for a member who is
-Confident in cash handling
-Excellent communication skills
-Great customer service
-Be flexible
-Able to work as part of a team and on your own
-A high standard of cleaning
-Catering and customer service experience would be beneficial
Salary: Dependent on age and experience.

Thanks to everyone for supporting us over the summer. Hope you all had fab summer hols! So sad they're over. Back to our usual opening hours Tues-Fri 9.30am-3pm, Saturday 9.30am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm. Do check our page if you're coming at the weekend as we're sometimes closed for private parties.
