The 2025 seed sowing bonanza has started! On a rainy Sunday afternoon 200 snapdragons and 200 stocks are go. We are scaling up this year to meet demand for the wedding market.

We sow and grow all from our 3 acre field with lots of room for nature in our native hedgerows, apple orchard and wet areas, growing with no chemicals.

Buckets of flowers cut fresh to order for your special event with no preservatives, flowers that smell like they should and no packaging. Our diary is filling up for 2025, if you would like to place an order contact [email protected]

Wedmore Flower Farm highlights of 2024.

Where to begin......1st mention has to go to my husband for giving me the confidence and encouragement to go for it. I've always grown, jumping into doing it commercially was daunting and I wouldn't have done it without him 💕. One of the funniest sights was him in a 3 piece suit just home from work helping me cut flowers for a florist order 🤣.

The first follower of our page was a landmark moment that made me smile for a week 😁. Being supported by the village and people buying bouquets every week from the lovely The cottage gallery , selling wholesale flowers to the talented florists at Bouquet Florist, Somerset and Flos & Frons.

A big higlight was providing brides with sustainably grown British flowers as DIY buckets for the 'big day'. A really budget friendly option to consider .

What have I learned? Well, a huge amount. Most recently I could have sold my body weight in dried white flowers for Christmas wreaths, so lots more of that for 2025!

There has been such lovely feedback from customers on how can last in the vase, which surprised me, because of course they can. If they are grown right, harvested at the right time and conditioned properly they will always impress beyond supermarket chemically treated flowers that don't open and have no scent. Having beautiful flowers doesn't cost the Earth.

2025 plan is do more wholesale to the florists and to sell every stem I grow, which will be double last year! We've invested in a grow light system for seed starting and been gifted greenhouses from so there will be flowers earlier this year and lots of them.

It's been scary, wonderful, frustrating (pesky rabbits eating all the dahlias 🙄) and so rewarding. Really looking forward to 2025, spending as much of it in dungarees and covered in mud as possible 😀.

Can't think of something to get that special someone for Christmas.......why not consider my fresh seasonal flowers grown as nature intended without chemicals delivered to your door within a 4 mile radius of Wedmore between April and October.

Going on holiday, no problem just skip a delivery and let me know when you are ready to receive your beautiful blooms again.

We are pleased to announce we will be offering a Christmas Tree collection and recycling service again this year, to raise funds for the Harvest Home.

We will collect your tree from your front door and recycle it.

No more needles in your car! 🎄 Suggested minimum donation £10. Booking is essential.

Look at these sweet peas getting all bulked up for next year, i bought too many seeds as usual 🙄, they are my all time favourite though. One of the best sellers to the wedding florists this year! They don't travel well so if you want this quintessentially British flower you have to . We sell both the flowers but also long lengths of the vine which are stunning in a big display.

Am so smitten by these sunflowers in beautiful autumn shades. Will be growing more of them next year. Not just any sunflower, specialist cut flower variety that doesn't drop pollen all over the house, bonus!
