The White Van Wedding Company

The White Van Wedding Company VW camper wedding car hire, camper photo booth hire & wedding games in London, Kent, Essex and Surrey It was the worlds worst, most rotten van.
(1)

The White Van was originally purchased by me, in 1997, as a clueless 19 year old, with money my dear grandad had left me. With lurid lime green paint and doors made of chicken wire and filler it wasn’t exactly a beauty. Oh and did I mention, a copious amount of mould inside too. Fast forward a few years, and after transporting me on many adventures around the UK and Europe it was looking even more sorry for itself. Yearly MOT failures were common with bills running into the thousands, so something drastic had to be done. A full bare metal restoration was the only way if I was to do it justice, and every worn out rotten part was replaced, including the engine. And it was treated to a sparkling new paint job in its original colour of VW Pearl White. Just a few days after the resto I drove it straight to Belgium on an adventure, and for once it got a lot of admiring looks. And a feature in Volksworld Magazine! Fast forward a couple more years and disaster struck, I suffered a head injury and was practically bedridden for over a year. I nearly sold the van as I thought I would never drive again. When I finally recovered, I realised life was too short to continue being miserable in a dead end retail management job. Many people had commented that the van would be perfect for weddings as it was so immaculate, so with no savings, no business plan, and no clue I gave it a shot. Hundreds of weddings later, the rest is history, i’ve travelled all over the South East to weddings large and small, including Westminster Abbey! And I love my job! New for 2019 is Pixwagen camper photo booth. Why not combine your transport with evening reception entertainment.

Great to meet the hard working Dover Media Group yesterday! They're out again today, they never stop!

Somethings taken an unexpected turn.
Working on a wedding video currently and one thing I've always been fond of is good audio from ceremony and speaches. By good audio, I mean being able to hear the foot steps walking down the isle, the grooms voice croak as the nerves kick in, the shakes as the vowels exchange, but this wedding video im working on somehow somethings gone wrong, or did it go right?
Usually i put grooms mics just inside their jackets close enough tp their mouth to get the best possible audio without the ruffle of clothes moving about, now i get all sorts on the recordings, idle chatter, adorable comments to his bride and wife, and even comments on how great weve been during their conversations . Im not sure whats changed for this one, but somehow the entire way through the recording of the ceremony the mic has been in the right position against his chest so that i can hear the grooms heart beat. By heart beat I mean it starts slow, then bride arrives and its racing, then things relax as they sit for the church ceremony, then as they stand for the vowels its going flat out! He must have hit 180bpm at some points im sure! Now im a soppy romantic and think its lovely, the real reactions and physical emotions from a wedding that no photograph could ever portray nor any content creator will ever show. Now thats a side to video that I didnt even know I wanted to hear on the recording. Ive not decided as yet if I should embrace the heartbeat throughout parts of the ceremony, or edit it out, but its got me curious to know what the soppy among our followers think.
Cute real special touch, or
Distracting bin it?

Photo of us at what seems like our 2nd home this year at the stunning Solton Manor doing serious photographer stuff. And from the state of my shirt, id say it was warm 🥵 x x
