To celebrate my birthday today, I thought I would use it as an excuse to let you all Know a little bit more about me.
For those who don’t know, I am James Campbell founder and designer at Avery James Design studio. I studied design at university and have been sewing for 20 years now! So opening my studio at truly is a dream come true.
Here are 5 things you may not know about me!
1️⃣ I am a huge Kylie Minouge fan and have seen her live 5 times! Oh and I am the same age ash her music career so it meant to be! 😏
2️⃣ I am also a hairdresser, with 14 years experience I worked in a salon for 12 years, and was also a GHD educator. 💇♀️
3️⃣ My favourite fictional character is Carrie Bradshaw, ever since secretly watching s*x and the city late at night when I was about 13! 🗽
4️⃣ I enjoy baking and make family birthday cakes all year round. My favourite was when I made a dinosaur cake for my niece Avery to celebrate her 3rd birthday. 🎂
5️⃣ Finally I was and will always be a . The spice girls debut album was the first album I ever owned. And seeing them live was my first ever concert! ✌️

In dressmaking it’s all about the fine details. The cap sleeves on this bias cut dress are exactly that! The chefs kiss on a beautifully cut dress. 🤍
Bridal alterations is something that a lot of people do for think about. The average cost of wedding dress alterations in the uk is between £100 and £400 so make sure you include this in your budgeting to avoid a shock. 🤍
