That's just a few to get you going, if you have got your own ideas feel free to let us know and we will put them on your menu! We can add mouth watering marinades, salads,baked beans, breads helping you design your own menu! All our barbecue dishes are prepared by ourselves, (wherever possible), priding ourselves on using quality meats, marinating them overnight for those intense flavours. Salads are made fresh on the day of your party or event. Cookaboro' are now offering hand held tasty chicken wraps which can be cooked indoors aswell as outdoors making them a fantastic alternative to a buffet! We bring in small, portable table top cooking stoves and make the wraps up in front of your guests; choose two flavours for your guests, (vegetarian option available), we make them up and cut the wraps in half enabling guests to have two different flavoured chicken wraps! Succulent fresh chicken wraps offer choice, quality and satisfaction with a great taste to match. A healthy alternative packed full of flavour and natural goodness. Look at these great flavours -

Today’s barbecue was a little different to what we normally do.

We provided some of Cookaboro’s tasty barbecue food for volunteers and attendees at a local primary school’s summer fayre.
Lovely comments about the food were well received by myself and team today.

Helping a college out providing a simple barbecue for 100 HE staff. The college catering team made the salads and provided the barbecue food to cook.

There was something for everyone including vegetarians, vegans, coeliacs and Halal, all cooked separately from the fresh beefburgers and Smokey sausages.

We cooked outdoors and served in the gym which was set up with tables and chairs.

Great feedback was received from the hungry lecturers.

A 60th barbecue birthday celebration in Wellingborough today and what wonderful hosts they were!

The hospitality showed to myself and Elaine by the hosts was second to none. Before we had even got out of the van to unload, iced drinks were passed through the open window for us; thank you birthday boy Martin and Jenny for looking after us.

Well that was a very warm one 😥 catering for 350 people at a university open day.

Thanks to the team who worked with me today, they did a great job in the heat. ‘Staff drinks’ which I always take with me to barbecue ‘gigs’ kept them hydrated.

Well, what a couple of weeks! Cheffie has not been on top form having been knocked out by a chest virus. However feeling quite a lot better over the last couple of days, together with the fantastic help preparing, setting up and serving from Alex, Elaine and Hayley we managed to pull off our first barbecue of the year catering for 100 people at a 60th birthday celebration in Northampton. cookaboro totally made an event i attended for my best friend in higham ferris. The food was superb, waiters and waitresses immaculate, polite and professional, but as i say the food was totaly first class. Starters well that would be telling, main course - every table was making enquiries into if there was more and deserts well, you seriously need to try this catering company out! They come with my full recommendation and if i ever have a function that requires caterers they will be the the one and only on my list to recommend!

was cooked on a proper spit roast with a nakedflame,crispy crackling was mouth watering... The salad bar was exceptional along side with the home made dessert table. Phil catered for the adults at my grandaughterʼs 13th birthday. A bbq for 25 adults and some children. It was exceptional. The food was fab and his coleslaw is out of this world. Hi Phil, as I had 5 mins to myself at last I just thought I would write a quick thank you. I can honestly say that from the our first meeting I knew we had chosen the right caterer, I had in mind the sort of meal that we wanted and you made your suggestions and recommendations around our ideas, which we found a refreshing change from other caterers we had enquired with as you are flexible and accommodating to all needs. As with all weddings our numbers kept on changing and vegetarians kept appearing but as the changes were relayed to you you never appeared flustered with us. The food itself well what can I say it was amazing, everyone commented on how fantastic the food was, the presentation and the timing we felt were to perfection, the staff you used were friendly and very helpful and made us feel the nothing we requested was too much. The chocolate dessert - oh my - I know we requested chocolate dessert but the truffle was truly out of this world its a good job I don't know the recipe as I can honestly say we would live on it.
