I booked a private couple’s dance lesson with Michelle as a birthday surprise for my husband, and what can I say? It was one of the best presents I’ve ever given! I have dance experience but have never danced with a partner, while my husband has great rhythm but has never taken a lesson.

Michelle instantly put us both at ease and adapted to our abilities, and the grins never left our faces for the whole hour. She knows exactly what she’s doing, and after showing us some steps and combinations, she encouraged us to dance together properly for the first time. It was a fantastic feeliing!

Our confidence increased throughout the lesson with the perfect blend of laughter and challenges. Suffice it to say we are hooked and will be continuing lessons with her. Her music choices were fun, and the venue was ideal, with plenty of space and easy parking. Highly recommended.

For those coming along to St Albans Baby Steps tomorrow. From the car park of Stephen’s Church follow the footpath around to the right through the door and turn right.

Wear something cool there will be Samba and Cha Cha routines to warm you up and get you ready for the day.

Thank you to all our Datchworth Beginners for venturing out on such a cold night, and making the evening so much fun. Everyone did amazing. To be able to step back and watch you all dancing our first 3 dances of the course made me incredibly happy. See you next week.

Thank you Baby Steps 🥰 maybe it should be called Baby Sleeping 😂 although nothing baby about 5783 steps. A rumba warm up, an Uptown Funk Cha Cha, a Dancing Queen Samba and a cool down Waltz. Well done. See you next week 💃

Private Lessons - yesterday was all about Foxtrot technique with a bit of Tango and Viennese Waltz. A lovely way to spend a Thursday afternoon.

If you are struggling with a certain dance or step? Maybe you want to learn a new dance. Lessons are held on a Thursday afternoon at Datchworth Village Hall. These are for one person or couple. There are a few 2-3pm spaces available, get in touch to book.
