Funeral and sympathy work always hits hard. It makes you grateful for tomorrow, it reminds you of just how fortunate you are to have the life you lead and to have people that share It with you, who love you and you them.
Flowers are a beautiful, poignant way to offer solace, comfort and compassion. They are a way to celebrate a loved one whilst offering their family and friends an outlet to show both their sadness and respect.
Using florals at funerals and for sympathy are believed to be the oldest of human rituals, with evidence of wildflowers found at burial sites dating from 62, 000 BC.A timeless tradition that has grown throughout the ages.
Funeral floral design can be vastly diverse. From beautiful Sprays that adorn caskets, to more personalised designs whereby the use of florals creates a persons hobby or favourite item, then there’s name and word tributes, to wreaths and posies. The offerings are endless.
This heart was created with a younger lady in mind, so has a modern feel, whilst being timelessly beautiful using gorgeous purple calla, aster and a base of pittosporum, whilst nestling with green ranunculus, spray roses and white chrysanths to give a ‘garden-y’ feel.
Every tribute is an honour to create and I will do my upmost to always have your loved one in mind throughout my designs.
