We have a new addition at Curious Creatures HQ. She's a Baja blue rock lizard and hopefully in time she'll be calm enough to come to shows and parties.

We went along to help celebrate Matthews birthday, everyone had a great time, even those that were terrified ended the day holding a snake with a smile on their face, thanks for having us.

We had a great time with safenet domestic abuse and support service, by the end of the session even those that were terrified at the start didn't leave without holding a snake and smiling, this is why I love my hobby.

We've had some new arrivals at Curious Creatures today.
Percival (Percy for short) the Rosy Boa, Rue the Trans-Pecos rat snake, a blizzard California King snake who's yet to be named and Lagertha the Sumatran short tailed python.
We also welcomed two blue tongue skinks however they were hiding after their journey from Snakes 'N' Adders.

We took some of our creatures down to brockholes today with the Northwest reptile club everyone had a fabulous day.

A visit to a local school for children with autism, seeing their faces light up when they interacted with the animals reminds me why we do what we do.

We went along to Chorley scouts with Northwest reptile club, after introducing the animals answering the children's questions and some fun facts, the children got hands on with the animals and everyone had a great time
