Kiran's over the moon!! π€©π₯°
Afternoon. Hope you're all well today.
Just a wee quick one. Today is a very special religious day in #pakistan and with that we as a family always hand out food to the less fortunate people. It's another way of giving back some charity and to remain humble
Don't usually film any of this but with permission from the family and Kira, I've captured a wee bit.
Most of the finance comes from Kiran's 2 older brothers but Kiran also uses her income from @kirans___kitchen sales to help with paying for the food.
Today we had made sweet halwa with almonds. A semolina dish which is sweet and power packed.
The second dish is haleem which is slow cooked chicken witha mix of deals (lentils) which is a mega healthy protein packed dish. These 2 together with a freshly made naan bread are packed and then handed out.
So when you amazing customers buy our dishes, you guys help us feed hundreds of kids and adults.
And for that, we are truly grateful and appreciate it π
Have a great day and hopefully see you soon
Shaz and Kiran
Ps. Huge thanks again to Kiran's amazing family for helping out with everything as always. π
Pps. Video is a bit rough so apologies in advance! π

Afternoon. Hope you're all well.
Just a quick one to share a couple of breakfast dishes we've had recently.
1st one is fresh crisp flaky Parathas like the ones we sell frozen, spicy omelette, Lahori Chickpeas (like Kiran cooks on Whipman) , Spicy potato Parathas (banging) and sweet Kashmiri tea.
2nd one is an omelette and channa daal burger bun. A long roll wrapped with a spicy omelette. Absolute winner. Works brilliantly. I'll be having a few more of these!! ππ€£
Ps. The total cost of both these meals combined per head was about Β£3.
Have a great day π
Many thanks
Shaz

Daal mash (urid lentils) with green chilli and garlic n ginger
Salad bowl
As many freshly made tandoori roti's as you can eat

Just a wee video highlighting some of the amazing Fruits that are available in #pakistan. Only tried a few and all were so delicious and sweet. A very seasonal approach taken here. If not available, then eat what is in season. Love it. β€οΈ #punjab #fruits #food #like #share #follow
One of the best and one of my fave #streetfood snacks in #pakistan .... #Shakarkandi ( sweet potato) light and healthy π got it from Liberty Market in #Lahore, #punjab

Day 1 of a wee holiday and food tour of Lahore and Sheikhupura in Pakistan. Let's go ππ
Freezer fully stocked with 11 dishes to choose from.
Through Instagram and Facebook we thank everyone that has donated from West Linton and further afield to The Kirans Kitchen Pakistan Flood Relief.
Huge thanks from Shaz, Kiran, Dr Tanweer Aslam and Mr Touqeer Aslam (Kiran's two older brothers that have been helping with the flood relief) and all the victims of the flood that have been helped by those donations.
Just over Β£3,000 has now been raised in 6 weeks.
It really means a lot to us that so many residents in West Linton and beyond have helped - but that was never in doubt.
In the boxes my 2 amazing Bro's who are the real heroes on the ground in Pakistan π΅π°, made sure the items were long lasting, high in energy and ready to eat. The next items on our list are cold weather items like blankets and warm clothing.
For further information about helping out, please visit our Kiran's Kitchen page or text me (Shaz) on 07947635405.
A wee like or share would be cool and help spread the word.
Many thanks again
Shaz and Kiran x
