Whilst currently sunning myself in Perth WA visiting my son the dawning realisation that Xmas is indeed just around the corner upon my return!

Last week was a special weekend for myself and hubby, a double celebration, can only mean one thing, two cakes!

One was a three tier, White chocolate and passionfruit, Salted caramel and last but not least lemon.

The second cake, a cake of cheese!

The cheese was provided in blocks and I put it all together with a delicious array of fruit and flowers ooh and just a little more cheese 😂

We had a fabulous evening with family and friends, eating, drinking and dancing!

Yesterday, this beautiful cake was delivered to East Mersea hall for the lovely Abbie and Harri.

It was a challenging cake, but I was lucky to collaborate with Kate Surface ( Buttercups) my old “ boss lady” on this one! It was great working with her again.

With her help and expertise, we pulled it off! A late night/ early morning finish 😂😂😂

Delicious tiers of Salted caramel, Passionfruit and White chocolate and Cookies and cream.

The wedding venue was stunning as were the bride and groom. I was lucky to be invited to the evening reception, a great time was had by all, celebrating and dancing the night away.

Wishing Abbie and Harry many years of love and happiness ###

Another large catering order delivered yesterday.

Little Thatch Bakes offers a range of catering items alongside all the delicious cakes.

This consisted of a variety of Sandwiches, Sausage rolls, Roasted Vegetable tart, Pork pies, a huge selection of cheese crackers and chutney.

To finish, a very lovely Fruit adorned Victoria sponge, rich Chocolate Brownies and refreshing individual Lemon Drizzles.

There was plenty to go around and the client was very happy.

This was delivered just in time for a celebratory Line dancing party!
