Is this your new hobby?

Art classes at The Radio Wing, Locking Parklands, start in February with a fun 5 week Beginners Drawing and Painting course.

This beginners class will introduce you to the skills of drawing shape, tone and texture, plus some basic watercolour techniques.

Tutor Ade has been teaching adults for over 20 years and offers a fun and relaxed class.

Tuesday from 4th February
9.30am to 11.30am
£12/session, or £50 for the course.

I had a nice morning catching up with krazy kev over a meal in Bos Cafe Burnham On Sea.

Kev is a good friend and an entertainer based in Bridgwater. He has just finished a great run in The McMillan Theatre pantomine. You would have seen him if you came to last years Penny Party in the Park.

We had a fab time celebrating Arthur's 7th birthday 🎂 party this afternoon with a Games Party.

Back to back high energy, non elimination games with prizes which kept everyone (even the parents) laughing.

I was in St James Parish Hall in Bristol today from Isobella's 6th birthday. It was an action packed hour of dancing and games, and the lights looked amazing in the short winter daylight.

It might be cold outside, but we raised the temperature indoors.

This morning I met with the new Visit Weston Manager of Weston-super-Mare Town Council for a very interesting chat about his plans for the town.

He has lot of fresh and exciting ideas that I think will really help people find the town and events happening in the town.

For the first birthday party of the year, I had the pleasure of entertaining Lena for her 7th birthday.

She went for a Games Party, which offered back to back high energy games, including parachute games.

Lena didn't stop smiling and her friends were super joining in and helping her have the best time.

Who had kids that love dinosaurs?

If you do, then they will love Dino Extravaganza - Live, coming to Winter Gardens Pavilion, Weston-super-Mare in the February Half Term.

This show is packed with fun dinosaur facts, interactive games and huge dinosaurs to get face to face with.

There is also pre show entertainment with games, dinosaur attraction, photo opportunities, merchandice, dino books from Little Yellow Duck Bookshop, dinosaur craft from Rainbow Sands, and more.

My first booking of 2025, and I was performing magic at a holiday club running out of Churchfield School Highbridge.

A nice, punchy 45 minutes interactive magic show with lots of laughter and audience participation.

Com-petition results

Last week I launched the annual comp to win a free magic show for your child's birthday or event.

Here are the stats.
I delivered a total of 95 birthday parties, 18 school discos, 7 pre school discos and 23 cabaret shows at holiday camps. In addition, I hosted 10 evenings at Riverside Holiday Village. That is 153, or almost 3 bookings a week, but it does not stop there!

I was involved in 15 events and festivals, and Rory my T Rex went out 5 times to other events.

I was at The Sovereign for 5 days providing family entertainment, plus 12 days of The Amazing Elf Workshop and Santa Grotto

I did 1 author talk, 10 session of my Party & Play pre school club, 5 quiz nights and 72 art classes.

Add 3 Santa appearances for The Bentley Road Baker and one for a school gives a total of 278.

I had 7 people within 5% of that number, with 278, 279, 280, and 284 being so close, but the winner of this year's free magic show with the exact guess of 278 is Emily Palmer.

Happy New Year!

What a year 2024 was for Action Pussycat. From opening the festivities at Mendip Activity Centre Harvest Home and warming the crowds up with for Weston-super-Mare Carnival, to closing the year with a super party at The White Willow last night, it has been a super busy year.

I particularly enjoyed the reception I have had with my new cabaret show in holiday camps, including Crealy Theme Park & Resort - Devon, The Seagull Inn • Brean, The Beachcomber, Brean, Home Farm Holiday Park and Riverside Holiday Village, where they let me have a residency over the summer as well.

My events included Penny Party in the Park, Summer Vibe, Face Your Fears, Dinosaurs by the Beach, and The Amazing Elf Workshop and Santa Grotto in We Are Super with The Sovereign, and of course my residency at The Sovereign over Easter and the summer. I am looking forward to entertaining you all with Dino Extravaganza - Live with Titch the T-Rex Dinosaur Hire and Stars of Time in February and The Interactive TV Quiz Show Game Show in April, plus don't miss me.as Sprat in Januarys Robinson Cruseo with the St George Players.

Highlights included winning The Prestige Children's Entertainment Company of the Year for the second time running, the Media Online Award of Excellence for best in Children's Entertainment and the Children's Party Specialist of the Year.

Finally, a massive thank you to everyone who booked me for their children's birthday parties this year. I really do have the best job in the world, and it is all.made possible by everyone who trusts me with putting smiles on their childrens faces.

I can't wait to see you all this year.

Happy New Year everyone.

I have just had a fantastic time ringing in the early New Year at The White Willow in Bridgwater. 3 hours of family fun, games, dancing and magic, and at the end of the show, I had more kids give me a hug and say thanks than ever before.

Cabaret time fun at Riverside Holiday Village tonight as I brought my magic and games show to the party.

There was a great crowd of children in and we had a fun time. Lots of little Action Pussycat fans in the crowd.
