As many of you know my dad passed away on Thursday afternoon after a long illness. His death however came very suddenly and was not expected. As a family, we have been thrown into chaos and the world seems rather strange at the moment. I am trying to fulfil bookings where I can and will contact those that I need to cancel in good time. Please bear with me as obviously I have to be with my family (especially my mother) at this exceptionally sad time....😥

Our venue for the Exmoor Dark Sky Festival this evening was Triscombe Farm where we had a "Picnic Under the Stars" - lovely time spent with a group of staying guests who came from places as far away as South America and the Netherlands....

What a wonderful stroke of luck for our guests this evening.... we finished our talk at Exford Bridge Tearooms and the skies cleared miraculously after very heavy rain.... all guests suited and booted quickly to get out onto the Dark Sky Reserve and hey presto! Stars in abundance! Some of our guests were very emotional at seeing so many and especially so when using the binoculars... a night to remember.... here is a pic of us leading the walk in darkness towards the moor, albeit for the torch! Lights out though when we got there!

One of our busiest periods of the year is about to start......

It was lovely today to work with Caroline from Exmoor National Park and film another dark sky promotional piece to camera for their release coming up later in the year. We then headed off to Batts Castle to reccie a walk that we are delivering in October... what an amazing view!

Busy day today for Wild About Exmoor, but what a beautiful day to lead a guided walk....
