The celebration of Exmoor’s internationally recognised dark skies is back! With a packed programme of over 70 stargazing events, storytelling and outdoor adventures.

It was lovely today to work with Caroline from Exmoor National Park and film another dark sky promotional piece to camera for their release coming up later in the year. We then headed off to Batts Castle to reccie a walk that we are delivering in October... what an amazing view!

Despite the cloud our last Summer Stargazing guests of the season were treated to an amazing barbeque, a solar presentation and a drink toast on the moors of Exmoor to greet the rising Moon.... we all had a great evening being inspired by Astronomy....

Wild about Exmoor and Space Detectives are deeply saddened to hear the tragic news coming out of Exmoor over the last 24 hours and our thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved.

Thank you also to all those emergency services that attended and to the wonderful community of Wheddon Cross who came together to help in any way they could.

The road involved and the school are well known to us which makes it all the more upsetting. Stay strong MMS - the Exmoor community are there for you. 😥😥

How about a lovely barbeque, followed by Solar Gazing and then watching the Sun set over Exmoor? Sound idyllic? Well, no worries, we will still have our barbeque and use the virtual skies instead.... so we got it all covered.
