This week I’ve shared my own experience of placing a bespoke order. I think it’s difficult to understand and appreciate the value in having something custom-made until you actually experience it, so I hope my experience sheds some light on the process to help you consider bespoke options for your big day.
I chose to help me design a custom ring in memory of my dad, who passed away 18 months ago. I absolutely love what she created for me and captured so many sentimental details that are not obvious here but are revealed in my blog post if you fancy reading about it.

I know how hard it is to lose someone close to you, and wedding days without them just aren’t the same 😔 Laura came to me with sentimental pieces from her nan to transform into a headpiece and here’s the result 😍
The button came from the coat Laura’s nan always wore, the coloured shapes and ring are from her nan’s necklaces and finally, the delicate amethyst earrings were ones that Laura remembers her nan wearing regularly.

I wrote and spoke about authenticity this week on my blog and podcast (The Miss to Mrs Mindset) and realised it’s been a while since I posted a picture of myself on here - not very authentic of me! Thank you for capturing this shot of me on our recent shoot with and - the four of us make a great team!
In the article and podcast, I share how it’s so easy to lose ourselves in wedding planning and get caught up with what we think we SHOULD have…the sad thing is, when we try to cram everything in or incorporate every detail we see for the sake of it, we end up with a day that could be anyone’s. More importantly, I share some tips to help you come back home to yourself and bring the sparkle and joy back into wedding planning again.

2 reasons why I love hair vines:
1. They can be styled in so many ways, so it doesn’t matter how you wear your hair - they can be wrapped around up-dos, pinned along half-ups, worn in loose hair, weaved through plaits and be worn as a headband without the annoying pinch behind the ears. They’re also easy to style with veils too 🥳
2. They double up as necklaces, bracelets and even bridal belts - just string some ribbon between the loops at either end and tie in a bow to secure!

One beautiful piece used as inspiration for two beautiful brides 💗 . The Aurora vine was designed for a shoot with @memoiresenor inspired by Briar Rose and has been a firm favourite with my brides 🥰 Jasmine made this vine her own by adding in more delicate pearl branches, then we used that to create a smaller version for her mum, Tina, and clips for her bridesmaids, while Miri lengthened her vine, changed the rose quartz flowers to aquamarine to suit her wedding colour scheme and added in a few more sparkles for good measure 😊 . I love how one simple design inspired two elegant pieces that truly captured the essence of these two beautiful souls 💗 . Elsa Rose Boutique began as a vague idea back in October 2013 and has since flourished into a beautiful, award winning, creative business that enables brides to design their own hair accessories, cake toppers and brooch bouquets. Each piece is made by hand, making each one unique, and while there is plenty of inspiration on the website, the majority of brides opt for bespoke designs to match their bouquet, dress details or accessories.

A perfectionist to the core, you can rest assured that you’re in safe hands when ordering your accessories for your special day.
