***ABBEY BARN IN ABBOTSBURY ***

Abbey Barn is one of the most historic buildings in Dorset. Today, Abbey Barn is a multi-functional events space. Constructed in 1400, the Barn is thatched from reed from the Abbotsbury Reed Beds and constructed with stone quarried from the Village. The Barn is Grade I listed and thought to be the largest remaining thatched building in England.

The Barn is now available for private hire for a range of events including weddings and parties. For a viewing or further information contact:

The Barn is operated by the Abbey Farm, Abbotsbury team and is separate from the Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens as a wedding venue.
