BETH POTTER IS AN OLYMPIC BRONZE MEDALLIST in her first Games as a triathlete 🥉❤️‍🔥

After a battling race, Potter ran strongly to secure her place on the podium behind Beaugrand (FRA) in first and Derron (SUI) in second.

Taylor-Brown crossed the line in sixth with Olympic debutant Kate Waugh finished 15th.

Its Weymouth Lifeboat week and there is a display at Bowleaze at 7pm.

If you havent seen, the mens triathlon was postponed this morning due to poor water conditions so we shall have to wait to see if Alex or Sam triumph.
They will attempt to run both events Wednesday morning if the levels decrease in the next 24 hours, otherwise it will be Friday and may be a Duathlon if conditions do not improve.

Tis the season when every race organiser tries to get in early with a "look at us" we are open post - I've seen many races open up this past week or two - ours included but the costs of some are just mad!

Just have look at what you get at our event compared to others that are begging for your entries too.

1, Amazing Marshals all round the course - without these guys and girls the races simply wouldn't happen so we always put these people first on the list x (it helps by offering a free race to anyone who marshals too - contact us if you can lend a hand :) )

2, Awesome course - one of the best courses for a Sprint, Classic or Middle Distance event in the whole of the UK! Fact - look at the feedback from previous competitors :)

3, Brilliant and I mean BRILLIANT water cover and safety on route - most of us were born by the water so know a thing or three about keeping you safe while you race x

4, PRICE! - this race is cheap at full price let alone the amazing Early Bird Discounts currently on offer - the price will raise after 30 entries at each level giving you a great opportunity to get your whole club/team involved - what's more - if you pass on your unique entry code to others they get a further 10% discount off their entry and for each one used you get £5 to use for future events - get 5 mates to enter from your code and you've all saved another £70 between you!

5, Bling - nothing says you've been to a Bustinskin Event more than the awesome medals and buffs we hand out at the finish.

PLUS.......... there's food, drink, medics, music, close parking, great facilities for the whole family to go to while you race etc etc ..... we could go on for ages, there's so much more at this event than at many more events charging triple the price.

So, be good to yourselves ( and us! ) and get those entries in - support a local club to keep on doing what we do best - otherwise one day the grass root events will all stop because everyone wants a tattoo! 🤦‍♂️

We have seen so many local races & local race organisers go under in the last few years/weeks due to lack of numbers - its time to get your arses in gear and bring back the fun to triathlon x 🙏😘 x Come on, you know you want to x
