Looking forward to our Summer party at the Village Hall on July 12th.
Willie’s Garden Kitchen have finalised the menu for the evening - see below.
My mouth is watering already!

Remember it’s £5 per ticket (free for under 12’s) and you can redeem the ticket against food purchases from Willie’s Garden Kitchen.

Gates and bar opens at 5.30pm, food will be available to buy from 6pm-8.30pm.

You can’t pay on the door, so please make sure that you’ve reserved and paid for your tickets in advance. There are only a few spaces left now so please contact [email protected] to get yours reserved.

Thank you to all who came along to our Quiz last night. What another fabulous night it turned out to be!

Congratulations to Quiz Me Kate who lifted the coveted Whaddon Quiz trophy, fending off Crystal Methodists who finished one point behind.

Wow! What an incredible night!

A huge thank you to all the attendees and organisers for making our Bollywood evening such a memorable success. Your generosity and support truly makes these events special.

We were treated to a vibrant Bollywood dance performance that was full of colour, energy, and fantastic moves. The interactive session was such a fun way for the audience to get involved, and we loved seeing everyone join in the celebration!

The food was absolutely amazing, offering a mouth-watering array of flavours that showcased the rich culinary diversity of India. Every bite was a delightful experience!

Thanks again to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and spirit. Together, we’ve made a lasting impact!

Next up for your diary - Saturday 22nd March - A social evening including Karaoke. Free entry, licensed bar and guaranteed to be lots of fun!

Many thanks from the Hall to Mark Carter, Guy Birch-Jones, Pierre Hibble and Graham Hain for getting the stage rebuilt in time for the Bollywood Evening tonight. Plans are well developed for the additional trap door!

A massive thank you to everyone that gave up their valuable time to help with the hall maintenance work this morning.

The hall is now ready for the new floor to be laid and much needed weeding, painting and fixing was attended to.

You are all generous and wonderful folks and the VH are lucky to have your support!

Another impressive turnout for the Quiz last night. Thank you to everyone for coming and making it such a fun evening.

Congratulations to Les Quizerables who succeeded in preventing the defending champions, Crystal Methodists, from achieving a three-in-row winning streak.

On behalf of the committee, thank you to all of you for supporting our fundraising events as without them, there would be no hall.

And I know that you would like to thank the committee and the Happy Helpers for the time and effort that they put in to make these events happen. A big pat on the back for all!

Please show your love ❤️ for the village hall on Valentines weekend by spending an hour or two tidying, cleaning, weeding and repairing. All help gratefully received, with jobs to suit everyone.

Did I mention sausage and egg rolls will be provided (as will plant based options)? A good number have let me know you're coming, but for catering purposes, can everyone add your name in the comments (with any dietary requirements).

This year is especially important as we will be preparing for the main hall floor to be replaced in time for our Bollywood themed food night (1 March - we still have 15 tickets available, please be quick to avoid disappointment!)
