Another impressive turnout for the Quiz last night. Thank you to everyone for coming and making it such a fun evening.

Congratulations to Les Quizerables who succeeded in preventing the defending champions, Crystal Methodists, from achieving a three-in-row winning streak.

On behalf of the committee, thank you to all of you for supporting our fundraising events as without them, there would be no hall.

And I know that you would like to thank the committee and the Happy Helpers for the time and effort that they put in to make these events happen. A big pat on the back for all!

Please show your love ❤️ for the village hall on Valentines weekend by spending an hour or two tidying, cleaning, weeding and repairing. All help gratefully received, with jobs to suit everyone.

Did I mention sausage and egg rolls will be provided (as will plant based options)? A good number have let me know you're coming, but for catering purposes, can everyone add your name in the comments (with any dietary requirements).

This year is especially important as we will be preparing for the main hall floor to be replaced in time for our Bollywood themed food night (1 March - we still have 15 tickets available, please be quick to avoid disappointment!)

🌟 **A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Incredible Community!** 🌟

Thanks to the amazing generosity and support of our villagers and friends of the village, we’ve successfully raised enough funds to give the small hall near the kitchen a much-needed upgrade!

A new floor is now in place, transforming the space and making it even more welcoming for all our events, gatherings, and activities. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of everyone who attended, volunteered, and contributed to our fundraising efforts throughout 2024.

We’re so grateful for the strong sense of community that makes projects like this possible. Here’s to many more memorable moments in our beautiful village hall!

What a fabulous evening we had last night at the final Quiz of 2024.

Thank you all for coming along, supporting the Village Hall and making the evening so enjoyable and successful.

A lot of work goes into organising an event like this so thanks go to the committee members who put in a lot of time and effort to make it happen.

Hagar made his quizmaster debut with
a fun, engaging and well-balanced set of questions. We will definitely have him back!

Crystal Methodists successfully defended their title, just overhauling “Agatha Quiztie” from Nash in a thrilling last round.
The rest of the teams were in hot pursuit, with only a handful of points separating first place and last place.

It was fabulous to see some of our Nash neighbours taking part in our Beer Pong event and they also have a team in our village hall quiz in a couple of weeks time.

Please remember that they regularly have great events too. If you’re at a loose end this Saturday, please pop along and support them at their village hall.

The inaugural Jubilee Hall Beer Pong tournament took place on Friday evening. And what a fantastic event it was.

Congratulations to “Kim Pong Un”, the winners of the Shield and massive congratulations to the overall tournament winners “Happy Camper Girls” who beat “Happy Camper Boys” in an extremely closely fought match.

Looks like this might become an annual event!!
