Hi everyone.. big announcement time

We have been very quiet on here since last year, covid and lots of other issues have seen our flower side drop massively

We had 16.5 weeks of no proper passing trade due to the road closures and traffic lights, this as we were just starting to recover and recoup after the 2 years of covid

The cost of living crisis seems to have changed people’s shopping habits and to be truthful if we had stayed a full florists we would have gone many months ago.

So we are doing our last wedding in a few weeks from September onwards we will be houseplants and limited flowers as a Friday treat for the weekend

We will still have a good amount for Christmas, Valentine’s and Mother’s Day but otherwise our focus will be on the plants

Other issues such as the proliferation of home florists and people undercutting to a point they must be making very little money.. so yes as the boutique of ours thrives the flower side has not x

Oh crikey where has the time gone .. things are still a little crazy here with the road closure.

We have still been flowering things up but just in a more subdued way while our little high street is cut off from normality.

Autumnal vibes are strong this week .. i can’t believe we are a week or so away from November .. this year has flown by and I can honestly say it has been a tough one .. being a florist is not an easy option.
Flowers are one of the first things people cut back on when times are tough financially .. so please support your local flower shop if you can .. our overheads are sky rocketing atm and your support is so needed🥺

And just like that we are in 2022 .. last year went so slow yet so fast .. we spent months in lockdown and missed some of the biggest flower filled days in the florists diary
