It is with great sadness that I have to write this and tell you that The Potting Shed Dog, Wylie, Saredon Texan, whatever name you knew him by, passed away yesterday. He has left an indescribable hole in our lives, which at the moment we are finding very hard to deal with. I can only thank him for the joy and laughter that he brought to our lives for the fifteen and a half years that we were privileged to have him. Thank you little man, you meant the world to me and I will miss you so much. Xx

I am looking for someone to cover the yard on Sunday mornings.
All normal yard duties, mucking out, haynets, handling horses etc.
Must be reliable, have high standards and be capable of handling all types of horses.
There may be the opportunity to get involved in helping me with the ponies that are in for breaking for the right person.

Having had a very old gardening friend staying with us the last couple days, we headed off to enjoy our mutual love of snowdrops…. Friday was a very enjoyable afternoon wandering round a local garden with a massive collection of about 400 snowdrops, then yesterday we headed down the road to view Snowdrop Valley. A very happy few days… couple of new snowdrops bought!!

I am now taking bookings for my wreath workshops, Friday 9th December, Tuesday 13th December and Thursday 15th December 10 - 12.30pm at Cutthorne, Luckwell Bridge. I think like so many people, it has been almost impossible to comprehend what has happened in the last week in Ukraine. Families ripped apart, homes lost. I felt at a loss of what could be done to help, until I read that the Ukrainian National flower was a sunflower, a flower which should bring light in the darkness. So I have made a set of sunflowers, 3 different sizes, a box of 9. These are £15 + postage with £10 from each box being donated to the please share this post, I would love to be able to help in some small way, thank you x

It’s a wrap! Another fun and creative morning making wreaths. It always amazes me how everyone using the same foliage and bits and pieces can make such different wreaths. They all looked absolutely fabulous! Well done everyone!
