Hi everyone.

Good news, after a couple of weeks in hospital and a few weeks recovering at home, the Snack Shack is back open Tuesday - Friday 08:00 - 13:45.

I'm still not quite at full fitness so, I'll not be opening on Monday's for the next few weeks.

There is also a new menu and logo for the Snack Shack, which I will upload separately.

So today is the day!
My last day at Amy’s Snack Shack……
It’s been a very emotional week at the Shack and I’ve been overwhelmed with the cards, gifts for me and gifts for the baby it’s been amazing and I’m truly grateful that I’ve built these friendships up over the last 4.5 years.

So I’m open 7:30am-1:30pm for my last ever shift as the owner of Amy’s Snack Shack!

So this is a big one…..
After an amazing 4.5 years it’s nearly time for me to hang up my apron and hand the business over to the new owner on Friday 3rd November 2023

This has been in the motions over the last month or so but it’s all official and a lot has been happening behind the scenes for a smonth transition for both myself and the new owner.

The name is staying for now along with the phone number so no big changes, opening times are staying the same with possibly opening earlier and closing slightly later due to new businesses having earlier/later breaks on the industrial estate.

So now a massive thank you to my amazing husband for giving me this opportunity to do this in the first place, it literally changed me as a person to become more confident, I had battles that I came through with his support and him continuing to tell me “you can do this” knowing that in life anything can be thrown at you and you CAN do it! Believe me ALOT was thrown at me those early days 🙈😂
But Matt Angrave you literally are one in a million and the not knowing of what I’ll do next for a job once my maternity leave is over is a scary one but having you by my side I know it will all be ok ❤️

Then also a massive thank you to Charlie, Milly and the best family and friends a girl could wish for!
The support I’ve received over the years, along with the tears, the laughter,the events, and trying to drag a small business through Covid was hard work but I always had you all there telling me it will be ok and you know what it took time but the Shack got back to better than it has ever been!
So you all know who you are and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so amazing and supportive I’ve got the best team around!

My next thanks is to my lovely loyal, regular customers, I really have made some lovely friends on that estate and I’ll miss you all so much and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for keeping me working and in a job through the tough times and being patient when I first started getting used to it all! You really are the best and I’m leaving you in good hands 🙌🏻

Now to my girls Cathy Rupp Jamie Gilmore Jade Kenyon Angie Hinton Michelle Richardson Jayne Pentycross Joanne Angrave Rebecca Jayne Creese
these girls have been amazing helping out in the Shack and held me together when I thought I couldn’t do it, they held my hand and spurred me on!
We will have a Snack Shack leaving party next year to celebrate after little one has arrived!
Thank you girls I love you all loads!

I did say it was a long one ☝️🙈😂
But this job has literally been amazing and it has changed my life for the better!
I’m going to be an emotional wreck these next two weeks, but it’s all for an amazing reason to have our little arrival coming January 2024 👶💖
