✨🎄Is anyone thinking about their Christmas Table yet?🎄✨

Does anyone like to do their own Christmas Table flowers?

We have a workshop on Saturday 21st December, 1pm where you can come along to Souter Lighthouse and create a long and low table centre with two candles in oasis. We will use festive foliage, fresh flowers and decorative materials and you have a choice to go with a white or red colour palette ❤️🤍

This will cost £45 per person and everything you will need to complete your arrangement is provided along with some festive refreshments.

✨🎄Christmas Wreaths for Sale 🎄✨

If anyone is looking for a Christmas Wreath for their front door, I currently have these two for sale.

The first is a traditional wreath of reds and greens with dried fruit and artificial red berries ❤️💚

The second is a navy and gold wreath with dried fruit and blue baubles 💙🧡

Both wreaths are hand bound onto a mossed 12" wreath frame and fully backed to stop any moss shedding.

These are £45 each and are available now for collection only in Whitburn, Sunderland.

🎄 The Christmas Wreath making season has started!

And here's some snaps from our Cowell's Wreath Workshops which we did over the weekend, I am loving the navy and orange option 💙🧡

We had a great time, made some fabulous wreaths and met some lovely people.

Why do a Christmas Wreath Making Workshop with The Northern Flower Garden?

Well, it's good fun, a great way to kick start the season and you get to take home your very own wreath for your front door.

You will learn new skills, maybe meet new friends and have the opportunity to immerse yourselves in a couple of hours of relaxing creativity.

At the Northern Flower Garden, workshops are our thing. It's what we do throughout the year, so we are well practiced at explaining, demonstrating and guiding and we promise to take you step by step through the process with ample materials to work with.

If you haven't yet booked a workshop and are local to the Ryton, Gateshead area we still have places for a workshop at the Barmoor Hub on Sunday 8th December from 1-3.30, £55 per person.

🎄We have our last few remaining spaces for our 2024 Christmas Wreath Workshops.

✨These are always great events where you can create your own Christmas Wreath using a selection of seasonal foliage with a choice of festive decorations and bows.
Everything is included along with teas, coffees, mince pies and cake and this can take up to 3 hours, luxury wreaths take time 😊

🎄Getting ready for Christmas...

And I am starting off with my Pinecone Wreaths ❤️

Here I have a heart constructed with various pinecones and gold coloured cypress pods for that subtle festive sparkle and a red velvet bow for a sophisticated finish.

I will be listing these amongst other shapes and sizes in my Etsy shop for delivery and on my website for local collection shortly.

My flower for the month of November is Nerine, commonly known as the Spider Lily 🩷

✨As the days grow shorter and colder, our choice of flowers start to reduce, however, Nerines which start out in September, are part of a select few which continue to bloom into November in our UK gardens.

✨They seem to be a delicate flower with their slender stems and frilly petals but these are much tougher than they look which enables them to last so long.

✨Although they have a medium stem their striking heads make them perfect for large and structural arrangements. Their colours, spanning pinks, reds and whites are also ideal for wedding flowers.

✨Legend states that a ship wreck brought the Nerine flower to Guernsey in the 1600's whereby it was adopted as the island's national flower and is also known as the Guernsey Lily.

🎃 I just wanted to say thank you to all the ladies who came to my Pumpkin Flowers Workshop last weekend.

As you can see from the images we were working with beautiful, vibrant autumn colours and creating some gorgeous designs 🧡💛❤️

🦇 Our Halloween Wreath Workshop had it's maiden voyage last weekend...

And we had a great time with our Halloween colours 🧡💜💚❤️

Our spikey foliage and spooky ribbon...

Topped off with dried solanum which look just like mini pumpkins and pinecones.

We met some lovely people and made some stunning wreaths. Thank you everybody, we have received such good feedback and pictures of your wreaths at home. They look great!

So, it's a goer. Watch out for this workshop next year 👀

The pumpkin season is upon us and we have made a great start with our Pumpkin Flowers Workshop last weekend 🎃

We thoroughly enjoyed making these beautiful arrangements with fresh flowers and carved out pumpkins.

Thank you Andrea, for your lovely feedback following a recent flower workshop in the summer 🙏

I love to pack my workshops with information and detail to give you good value for money and I think it's important to take you through the flower arranging processes, step by step with me as I also create the same designs as you.

Sometimes people turn up a tad daunted having never arranged flowers or created wreaths before. But this soon fades as we work together as a group and fast turns into pride when they see what they have created.
