Well guys with heartfelt thanks for all your support and very mixed emotions after 6+ years on Golden Lion Bank, we have ended our time there and handed over the pleasure to The Green Dragon Ale House and their new venture Esk Vaults. Serving lots of different and exciting beers and some food to go along with it 👌🏻🍺
They are open very soon so go and give them a try 💕 meanwhile you can still come and enjoy our homemade treats and afternoon teas along with lovely specials and our famous Sunday lunches at The Links Lounge at Whitby Golf Club with some of the best views in Whitby 🌅

Festive scones are back!! Filled with brandy mincemeat and marzipan, they are delicious!! Our special today is a festive toastie, filled with turkey, Brie and cranberry sauce 😋 they usually sell like hot cakes so be quick!! See you soon xx

UPDATE - CLUB CLOSURE

Any existing visitor bookings from today until Friday, please check in as normal in reception. We will have volunteers on hand to check you in and answer any questions.

We have temporarily stopped all new bookings and will not be taking any until Saturday 14th August when Sam and his team will be back to work and normal service can resume.

The Bar and Kitchen will be remaining closed until Saturday 14th when we will re-open from 9am with our fantastic friends at The Willow Branch

Thank you to everyone for there understanding and co-operation. Sam and the team cannot wait to get back to it and welcome you all, we can hear him pacing!!!

Due to ‘staff shortages’ the cafe will be closed today and tomorrow. But don’t worry we’re still open at the golf club 9.30-4 each day with a lovely new bar menu available 👌🏻 will keep everyone updated as time goes on. Love from all at willows 💕

We’re looking for a kitchen assistant to help out at our Whitby Golf Club location. Duties would be to assist the cook in whatever way required - prepping food, washing-up, garnishing plates etc. Duties and responsibilities will slowly be increased through ‘on the job’ training. Ideal for a 16/17 year old looking for a varied day, full time hours and the opportunity to progress in a friendly environment. Above minimum wage.

We’re looking for experienced waiting-on staff to be based at our Whitby Golf Club site to cover 30-40hrs per week over 4-5 days. The role could be shared between two applicants at 15 hours each if preferred. The applicant should have excellent people skills and would suit a confident, outgoing person with previous café experience with the confidence to work unsupervised. The start date for the position(s) would be early August.
