OFFICIAL STATEMENT
It comes with great sadness that I must announce that as of January 1st 2024, after 8 years at the venue. Due to several ongoing personal reasons, I will no longer be organising the live music events, booking the bands/artists or doing any promotional work at Percy's Cafe Bar and Live Music Venue in Whitchurch, Shropshire.
This is not a decision that I've taken lightly, having thought long and hard about it over the past year or so.
Not only do I absolutely love the job I've been doing and all that I've achieved both for the venue and for myself on a personal level but I feel that it's actually something that I've been good at doing and excelled in. With all the amount of time and effort, dedication, commitment and hard work that I've continuously put into organising and promoting every event. With very little personal reward.
I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank the venue, staff, sound engineers and the 100's, possibly 1000's of bands, artists and musicians that I've been fortunate enough to have worked with over the years. It's been an absolute pleasure!
All POW Promotions related social media pages i.e. Facebook, Instagram and YouTube will remain active as they've been a big part of my life and I've worked extremely hard to build them up to the point that they're currently at, with the followers, subscribers and support I've kindly received, for them to just be deleted.
Plus you never know what the future may hold.
