We are seeking a motivated individual with catering experience/skills to join our fast-paced and welcoming kitchen team, to work alongside the rest of the team to ensure that all food served is of the highest quality and meets our expectations.

Responsibilities include:

Cooking off part-baked baguettes, pies, and pastries
Preparing breakfast items
General daily prep work

What We Offer:

Full training provided
Uniform
Extended Christmas closure over the Christmas period

This role is being offered on a part time, permanent basis or full time, permanent basis with a competitive rate of pay £12.00 to £13.00 per hour (dependent on skill/abilities)
Monday to Friday- Part time- 3:00 AM - 7:00 AM/8:00 AM or Full time- 3.00 AM- 10.00/11.00 AM (Flexible working hours depending on workload)

Yesterday we catered for our final function for June 🌼 The month consisted of- 7 Suppers and 2 Lunches for the Bishop of Wi******er ⛪️ 4 Weddings- North Waltham, Malshanger, Whitchurch & Cole Henley 🤵🏻‍♂️👰🏼‍♀️ 2 BBQ’s- Longparish & Andover 🌭 6 Shows at Sparsholt Equestrian Centre 🐎 1 Burger & Hotdog Van- Whitchurch Football Club 🍔 and 1 Wake in Overton 🙏🏻 COMPLETED. A huge thank you to everyone that has chosen to use us, now for a well earned rest… at the weekend 🥳

WHEELBARROW RACE | LIVE MUSIC
Our celebrations for the Overton Wheelbarrow Race starts at 6:00pm this coming Friday.

After the first of the teams arrive here, we present Georgie Rose Events & Wedding Singer - a West End experienced little lady with a powerful voice.

Following her degree in Musical Theatre she is now a professional performer with a repertoire covering a range of songs from the eighties to present day.

We think she's going to keep up the energy and high octane feel of the Wheelbarrow Race in Overton here at The Red Lion.

We'll have an outside bar, hot food from Yum Yum UK Ltd, jugs of cocktails and special offers - plus we'll have the large 'Jumbrella' fully open to protect you from the sun/rain*

We're really looking forward to this year's race with almost 100 participants!
